Sweet. It was one year last week since I have been with our a pup in over 30 years. It has been too quiet. Hopefully soon though. Good luck with her !

Nice puppy! We have an English Mastiff / Dane mix that looks identical. Zoey is 5 months, about 90 lbs. and 29" to her shoulders. A dining table (standard height) is 30". This means she crouches a little to walk under the table but has no problem laying her huge head right on top of the dining table. Of course this is discouraged around here. She's the funniest dog I've ever known.

I grew up around the corner from a family that had 3 Mastiffs. Biggest one topped 210#. I was just at a training session for my dog, and there was a couple with a South African Mastiff. This dog was awesome. I will post a pic when i get my camera phone. Beautiful Mastiff by the way

Picked up a pin nail in the shoulder of my tire today. Didn't have a matching tire in stock so I had them swap the tire with the spare tire. I am figuring the plug should work o.k. for spare purposes - or at least until I get new tires. Only problem it took 2.5 hours to do the work.

I was talking with the service manager about the bumper recall. Looks like they are running into issues with the proper workspace to recalibrate the sensors. They are scheduling those to be done in the morning using the sales department's delivery area before they get in. Interesting. He said with Toyota's new safety sense programs he is pursuing adding an additional building for detailing and calibrations.

Finally after 1 day of tearing up the truck bed, sanding and prepping. 2 days of spray on bed liner with 3 coats. Today get to put it all back together and see the labor of love. Total protection plus a rubber bed mat for extra security for all the abuse it will take in the future.

About 1 and 1/2 gallons of Raptor spray on bed liner. Use of sprayer, blue tape, lots of patience about $120. But my friend helped me from his shop plus he's doing my tint even the front visor so gave him $500 for his time for both projects. If you OCD/perfectionist then this is well worth the result. If you wanna spend over $800+ that's another option

So I took it back to the dealer today since the scratched the bumper doing the recall.

    IMG_9952.jpg

It's a small nick I know but it's on them. I got the whole "we have to conduct an investigation to see if it happened here"

They said they were going to review the cameras and see what happened. That's bullshit, no surveillance system is going to pick up that nick, I can see it already, that's going to be the scapegoat!

I have an appointment for next Friday, and I wouldn't be surprised if they tell me that they can't see any mark on the bumper when I left after the recall.

my dealership does an initial inspection with ipad and video on. Will record state of your truck as you drop in. They can't BS if something happens while there.

I run a bodyshop, and when people drop off for repairs, we do a vehicle check in sheet. And a very thorough one at that !!!...And the reason we do this is because in the past, shady people have brought their cars in for repairs and then when picking them up after repairs they have claimed some serious bogus sh%& !!!...so we cover our bases....case and point....we have had people claim that their passenger rear power window doesn't work after they picked it up from us and say it worked when they dropped off to us for repairs.....so we have a check in sheet....IMG_1784.jpg ...we mark miles...fuel...windows...locks ..prior damage..etc..IMG_1784.jpg

Pedal commander control, easy installation just needed to figure where to place the module control. Will give data after a few miles for better gas(city selection) and power/speed(sport). Each has up to 4 variation so 16 total.

Quicker response on throttle(sport)better gas mileage (city) and some others. I got it to see if I can up my miles per gallon average. And to see how faster she can go for fun. Not sure if anyone here has tested this out
