I have both , no slip, had it in my 2008 taco from new really kept the back in like new condition, i like the stikyness of it that really good: I did a massive panic brake one time in the taco, some idiot cut me off, had a case of beer in the back it flipped over end instead of sliding! on the long axis.

I ordered the 8' mat from the dealer today 130+ tax. I had a Toyota mat in my 98 Tacoma and really liked the quality. Not sure why I didn't think of one for the tundra before I saw this thread.

I have the factory bed mat. I really dislike the TUNDRA in the middle because it catches everything. Try to slide a sheet of plywood in and you have to lift it over the letters. I like the look of the letters but would never buy a liner like this again. Solid ribs all the way.

So true, I have the OEM in my Tacoma and it hangs everything up when loading, solid ribs help when loaded so far with the one I got for the Tundra.

I could see that if you unload and load often it would be a real pain, I have a work van and I use our delivery pickup when I need to haul dirt , mulch etc

Mine is just a highway queen

I basically purchased my tundra so that my two shepherds could be in the bed with a sports cap. The rubber mat was the best choice for me. I don't really carry much of anything else.

My dealer has them for $120 but I asked for 10% off since I just bought my Tundra from them less than 2 months ago and they said yea not a problem :) $108 + tax. Picking it up on the way home from work today.

I got the Linux spray-in liner and the OEM bed mat. Fits perfectly and keeps the Linux from getting scratched. High quality thick mat...smart move. I also got the tailgate bedrug for my knees when climbing in and love that, too.

I see this is a few days old and that you have already decided, so my opinion or thought doesn't matter :( however, I wanted to add my 2 cents because FREEDOM!

I use the bed mat along with the spray and love the anti-slip it provides. :transformer:

I have the OEM spray-in liner and use the BedRug Mat. Doesn't say "Tundra" on it, but it works, its durable, and it only cost 20.00 more than what the dealership wanted for the rubber OEM mat.

After doing my spray on bed liner the Tundra factory rubber mats are another layer of protection, and looks great

Yes same as most with LineX also use OEM bed mat as I always seem to be loading this or that and keeps dog crate, furniture etc etc from slipping
with higher coefficient of friction. Protects the LineX from scratching. I payed the retail at a dealer but cash and carry and as expected Toyota quality
    item.

Are you planning on spraying the "extender"?if you are take off the vertical clamps and spray the 3 parallel bars looks way cleaner and just have to reclamp the vertical clamps. The straps will have to be cut and use a metal strap clip to re instal to extender bars as the bars will be now thicker due to the extra liner sprayed on. You'll love your new set up

I have the plastic OEM bedliner in my 2017 DC. How does the rubber bed mat work on that? Westin has the model for my truck on sale for $89 with free shipping through AutoAnything.com. Just kind of wondering about the benefits of having your gear sticking to the bed and losing the slideability that comes with the plastic oem liner.

I only used the plastic OEM liner in my 2002 Tundra and I guess I really liked being able to slide things around and the deep ridges trapped sand which was good since I am around sand a lot. I'm not sure if I really want to have a flat surface where sand would just sort of float around, seems like it'd come into contact with a lot more of my gear instead of having it riding high on the ridges of the plastic OEM liner.

I would need to try to stack things carefully and anchor things like the cooler to the tie downs in the bed and that usually would work well enough. Off road, things would still get bounced around a bit with both the plastic and rubber liners, I think?

I had the plastic EOM bed liner and EOM rubber mat, the mat doe not fit perfect on the edges as the plastic liner curves so if that doesn't bother you should be fine. This time I opt for a spray on bed liner as I'm looking for more durable surface and the mat acts as a cushion and extra protection.

So i have a question about what would you do. I have installed six D Ring tie downs in the floor of the bed and now my mat covers those up. I still want to be able to use the D Rings so i want to cut out a circle at each one...maybe about a 4 1/2" circle whatever will provide enough clearance for the D ring to fold down each way. Whats the best way to cut circles in the bed mat? Razor on a trammel?

Linex and bedmat is the bulletproof combo. Linex takes a beating, mat keeps things from sliding and getting damaged by rough linex
