In limp mode Trac, 4lo lights on several codes o7 Tundra 4.7 4x4
Good morning! I am new to Toyota. I went and bought 2007 Toyota tundra SR5 4.7 4x4 Iforce. A week and a half after I got it, it started bogging down at times. Wouldn't go over 2000 rpms. I took it back to the dealership and mechanic looked at it and said they have to order a part. This was in July. Now my 4LO light is flashing, Trac light is on and another light. It's in reduced power mode or something. I admit I am no mechanic. I purchased a code reader. Everything thing is air injection system related. Like it was when I took it back. Global OBD2 8 DTCs P2433, P2433, P2432, P0113, P0102, P2432, P0113, P0102, Toyota OEM Enhanced 10 DTCs P0102, P0113, P2432, P2433, P0102, P0113, P2432, P2433, P2432, P2433. Alot of the codes were repeated but I wanted to give all the info I know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.

If they determine it is the secondary air pump there is a thread about this.
There is a company named Hewitt Tech that makes a kit that costs around $450 that bypasses the system to avoid paying for this very costly repair.
Going into Limp mode is one of the signs.

Mind if I ask, what is "limp mode"?

Can't lift head up. Or, engine won't Rev and can't go pass like 20 mph. Something like that.

Whoever you have take your truck to that is telling you that you need a wheel speed sensor apparently has a lower level of knowledge than you do.

You have a problem with your SAIS system. People have suggested the Hewitt kit. You do not have any codes indicating a problem with a wheel speed sensor. Also the truck will not send itself into limp mode because of a WSS.

I go look at my truck this morning and now the brake light is on and the ABS light is on. I went back in there and told the dealership that those lights weren't on when I dropped my truck off. They then tell me it's the wheel spin sensor is causing all the problems. They know I have been having this issue since the first week I got the truck but they say it's my problem and I have to pay to get it fixed

It's totally possible that they didn't know what they were doing and tried to pull a wheel speed sensor out or bumped the wiring and broke one. Stop going to this shop! They will keep making new problems every time you come back.

How long ago did you buy the truck? With that limp mode, they may have pulled the battery cable off to reset the truck long enough for your to test drive. The person that had it before you may have done the same to them.

A bad wheel sensor will cause your truck to go into limp mode. Trust me. My front right one went out and it goes into limp mode. You would have to double tap the gas to get it to go a little bit. I bought a new one from rock auto and replaced it myself and fixed it. I think it cost 100 bucks.

Mine was the front right sensor. I've been told that a rear one will not put it in limp mode. Did you have a front one go out? Seems strange since we have the same year truck and model, and have two different results.

    Mine was a broken sensor.
