That explains why it gets cold enough for you to notice the dash squeak. Also our terrible roads.

My advice? Don't worry about it. Apparently all the Tundras do it. It goes away in the spring when it warms up.

And yes, I agree with you when you say you won't get back what you paid for it, especially within a year of buying it. Depreciation DOES still hit these trucks, especially from new, despite what people around here say,. That depreciation diminishes over time, though, relative to other brands.

That is correct. I just gambled and tried it. No issues with that squeaking and chirping since then.

Well, if you figure it out, please let me know. If it's an easy enough fix, I'll give it a go.

FYI, what was tried at my dealer was to replace the wiper cowl (that plastic bit between the hood and the windshield), and also removing and resealing the windshield. None of that helped.

If it turns out to be a wire under the central speaker grille rubbing, well, that should be easy enough to fix, I guess.

I discovered a rattle under my passenger side dash this weekend. Just tore the dash apart and found a loose bolt just behind the glove box. Problem solved.

My clicking sound is in a Sequoia but I think the Seq is exactly the same as a Tundra to the B pillar. So, 2019 Seq SR5 my daughter bought last week, 67k miles. We isolated the click on the test drive to the plastic area below the touchscreen stack and AC control, around the USB port,. I pressed my thumb and finger on either side of the USB multiple times, with pressure the click went away, released pressure the click was back.

Used car dealer mechanic drove it, confirmed the click, confirmed the USB area was the source. OK, so service guy told me just now he ordered a trim part that covers the USB port (didn't have the PN for it), said Toy dealer told him the part is on national backorder. My initial thought was I'd shove a wood toothpick tip (or two) in to tighten it up rather than waiting and let a non-Toyota guy possibly cause more damage hamhanding it. Thoughts?

If anybody in future has that super annoying click noise from the center lower dash, I called Groove Toyota, parts guy says the part is called "Integration Panel" PN 84013c530. It covers the center/lower dash area below the touchscreen assembly including the HVAC controls. It has four separate clips that hold it in place, $290 for the panel, clips are additional cost. I think the lower left corner clip came loose causing the plastic on plastic clicking noise.
