I guess I should have browsed the forum on a laptop before making this thread a thing when I was tired, and on my phone...

@ColoradoTJ Can you please move this thread to here? Thanks in advance...

Who are y'all using for alignments? I'm about done with toe'n'gos from my local raben.

I'm tired of paying full price for a partial job.

Nice truck! I like the black Softopper on the MGM. I've got a LEER that was a $300 CL find which I'm happy with but really need the versatility of tge Softopper.

I'm in Lex BTW. Not a lot of KY action on the forum.

Anyone run parts of the KAT? A buddy did the main 1 portion recently in his 4Runner. My only concern is my truck is my DD so not sure how many KY pinstripes I want to add.

Jeff Stoess is the guy who runs it. Has a pretty good FB page if anyone is interested

I ran a few portions of the KAT in my Expedition EL I had before the Tundra.

The Tundra is mostly finish now if life would let up a little bit I would love to get back on the trails.

Join this group. They setup a lot of group rides.

I’ve never heard of KAT before but just read multiple websites on it and it sounds awesome. @00Tyler10 let’s plan a late summer/early fall trip

If you travel the KAT, be prepared for pinstripes. I haven't been on much of the KAT, but I've been to the gorge area several times. There are 'roads' there that are pretty narrow for the Tundra that aren't even part of the KAT.

There are several groups dedicated to the KAT though, so people may be able to direct you to some 'safer' sections. Check out the Daniel Boone Back Country Byway also (DBBB). I believe it runs quite a bit longer, and shares several trails with the KAT, so it may have some wider sections as well.

Pretty sure that you'll run in to this issue with any off-roading in this region. The trails are pretty narrow at Land Between the Lakes and at Shawnee in Southern Ill as well, but I recommend checking them out as well.. I drive an 07 that already has plenty of blemishes, so I haven't been too worried about pinstripes though.

I realize most of you most likely have no need for junkyards, but do any of y'all know any good yards with Toyotas?

Haven't used them for years but back in my mechanic days I dealt with Lewis Auto Parts junkyard in Georgetown. Freddie Lewis ran the place. I think now most of the junkyards have a parts link where they can share info parts with each other.

There is also Bluegrass Auto Parts in Lex that had a fairly large network of smaller yards they worked with.

@Tundra2 and I went there not too long ago for some parts off another vehicle. They get a tundra or 2 every once in a while but they get picked clean real quick. If you're going there looking for just about anything else they've got a giant selection.

Man I had to do some digging to find a KY thread. Moved back to the bluegrass state after 7 years in NC... Originally from Louisville but now in NKY... Howdy folks!

Good to see other people in Kentucky on here.

I passed a black trd pro similar to mine the other day in Richmond and was tempted to say hello. Looked like he has a few similar mods too.
