It's not just Meg's. Most cleaner waxes or "All-in-One" polishes do that. It's a result of the oils/fillers used in them to provide lubrication to make them both a light polish and finishing wax.

That car looks quite good, but holy crap... that shop. Looks like it's clean enough to perform surgery in there!

Color correction and then ceramic coat on the body, lights, and trim. Looks better than the day I got it.

 

They usually do. How much correction did you need to do...and what product/process did you use? What ceramic did you end up going with?

 

After a trip to Montrose CO and back the Mrs car needed a good wash so it got it this evening. Hit it with my favorite product ever, Bead-Maker.

It does already has 2 coats of Griot's 3in1 on it from a couple of months ago so the Bead-Maker is like a helpful little detail spray.

I think it's looking pretty good for an '08 with a 170k+ on the clock.

 

Not sure how much correction it needed, but it was done to prep for the ceramic coat. I took the truck to a detailer to get done. The ceramic is from Majestic and its the Shield EXP 9H 5 year coating.

 

Got this kit on blackfriday so I have a 2-3” plus a new G9 and I was itching to try it out.

 

Not really a reflection, but it’s images like this that make the countless hours of washing, waxing and polishing an RV totally worth it.

Spent the day going after my daughters car. It was in bad shape and needed some love. She has only had it a few months and I dont think anyone had ever gotten it done.

This is where I started after a wash and decon/clay wash again.

Polished and ceramic coated last week and then of course it rains the next day.

Which one? And how was your experience with it?

 

Sister in law's bronco sport. We had to swap vehicles and since I had time, I washed it and threw a quik spray wax on it. Not a fan of the vehicle personally. But it's new and had no protection on it, so I used some products I don't really use on my vehicles anymore.

 

Tell me you put cerakote on that porta potty

 

I'm not wasting my time and effort doing that for her. Oh wait....you meant the actual porta potty, not the bronco. My bad

 

I'm not sure which one.. lol.. Car Toys did it.

 

I don't like them either. I was excited because I grew up riding in my mom's two-door forest green Bronco on 35s. These new ones feel cheap and are a major let down.

 

My thoughts too. When I dropped it back off and picked up our vehicle, they asked what I thought of it. I told them as nicely as I could that it was junk
