There is no way the TRD Pro will sell for less than 60k. Will be 65K absolute minimum.

I suggest you start looking for a Power Wagon now. Good choice btw.

Really a loaded Power wagon similar to the new TRD Pro for 60K? Does Ram offer its usual 8-10k off in this market?

65k minimum is retarded. That’s a 20% increase on pricing lol. I can’t wait for when the bubble pops

I just priced a Power Wagon with level 1 option for 60k.

    That's a good deal.

I build a similarly optioned to the upcoming TRD Pro with equivalent Toyota safety sense, off road package, large center display, upgraded speakers, 360 view cameras, minus the panoramic roof. It come up to 67K that's why I asked if we still get the usual RAM truck discounts.

My wife thought I was crazy to trade in the 4Runner and buy (2) 2021 Tundras this past year...glad I did now.
Gonna hang with my V8's for a while too.
$47K for the Limited & $56K for the Pro & at the time thought that was quite a bite but looking at it now...probably not too shabby.;)

Right now, it does. March 2020 I bought my current truck (CrewMax 4WD with SR5 Upgrade and TRD Off-Road and Blackout packages) for $41.7K. Something similar right now would cost me $52K and that's ONLY because the local dealer refuses to sell over MSRP.

I've been doing the same thing. The last couple days I've been building Ram trucks thinking they might be a better deal. The main thing I figured out is there very confusing lol. You add this but it takes away this etc. I had figured out differently than you on the Power Wagon. To be more comparable it's actually between the Level 2 and 3 equipment package but to get the 12" display you need the Level 3. I did it twice before I realized that. If you don't want vinyl or cloth bench front seat you also have to add Level 3 which gives you leather bucket seats. It's not straight forward like Toyota but it also gives more individual choices which can be a benefit but when I price it out I get $73,865. I don't think the interior would compare to a Pro. I'm now thinking maybe a higher model Ram might be more what I'm looking for but I'd almost feel like I'm cheating on Toyota lol

If Toyota didn't do enough to earn your continued business then that is on them. For many of us Toyota didn't deliver.

I'd buy a Ram today if I needed a brand new truck.

This is one of the cheapest Ram dealers in the country. They are close to an airport also and will pick you up at the airport so you can drive your new truck home. They do a lot of business this way. If I ever buy a Ram I will use this dealers prices against local dealers. If that doesn't work I will need a plane ticket.

I hear what you're saying but the other thing to think about is reliability.
Ram advertises that there truck is the best when comparing to other full size trucks. When you read the fine print you see that they don't include Toyota in that comparison, It's only Chevy and Ford. Hmm I wonder why that is....lol

One thing that has also got me looking at Ram is that you can blackout everything, kinda like a nightshade but not on a Tundra.
For 21 you could buy a 4Runner Nightshade or a Tacoma Nightshade but not a Tundra.
For 22 only a Tacoma. The closest thing on a 4Runner would be the Trail except you can't get it in black. I would think they could sell enough of them with all the chrome delete stuff available aftermarket but they don't.

You can't really compare old prices vs. the 2022, yet everyone keeps doing it. The 2022 has so many more features that they are not at all comparable.

(ib someone says I don't need any that frilly stuff)

You need to compare pros and cons especially if you move up to a Pro and it cost you 15,000 more. It’s a matter how much you are willing to spend for the newer design.

Interior on the ram is very nice. In the end it comes down to what you need/want and also if you care about perceived reliability.

Count me in on the power wagon — wagon.

That was my original decision: power wagon or tundra trd pro.

I went with 2019 trd pro and don’t regret it.

I am ocd about having a v8 in a pick up.

If trd pro is north of 70K by even a dime , I’m likely in a Power Wagon.

So I've been comparing Toyota to Ram trucks and Chevy/Gmc trucks. One thing I found in common between Ram and Chevy is that safety is an option unlike Toyota and can cost upto $3k. I didn't know keyless entry was still an option either.
There's so many options on Ram and Chevy I can see why it looks like Toyota is more expensive but it doesn't seem to be.
The benefits with the big 3 is you can design your own truck a little more than Toyota at a cost.

Yesterday I watched a video of a new Sr5 Tundra on the hwy. While driving at 30 mph the driver squealed the tires and it wasn't just a chirp ! Lol
I don't remember my Tundra doing that and that wasn't the hybrid power train so anyone who thinks there's not the same power or torque of the v8 in the v6 Turbo you should test drive one when you can.

As I was looking at Chevy/GMC trucks I noticed that the 2022 still have the 21 interior with the 8" touch screen. I checked with a dealer and they told me there a limited amount of trucks like that. At the end of Dec you can order the all new 2022 with new interior and 13" touch screen for delivery in June !!

After looking at the real world reviews by some youtubers like TFL and others, I am going to hold off getting a non-hybrid Tundra. I truly wish the 3rd gen Tundra is very successful.

I will wait it out for a Tundra/Sequoia Prime or a 4 Runner Prime (if they are smart Toyota will bring one to the market aka Jeep with it's 4xe GC and Wranglers). I have a 2nd gen Tundra, a 1993 Yota pickup and a Subaru Outback 3.6R to tide me over until say 2025 when hopefully Toyota will get their act together and truly electrify all their vehicles (BVE or PHEV).

In the meantime with no car payments I will have more money leftover to modify my trucks and cars :)
