Please help! I just purchased a "new to me" 2020 TRD Sport and every time I put the truck into Drive and provide a small amount of pressure to the gas pedal I hear a small, short, squealing/squeaking noise within 5 seconds of driving. Every time, without fail. It feels like it happens right when the truck switches into first gear from the rolling start. I feel a little vibration in the gas pedal when the noise occurs.

I've taken it to 2 different dealerships (still under factory warranty (11k miles). Both claimed they never heard it at first. So then I had techs from both dealerships sit in the truck and replicated the issue. First tech said it's just the suspension flexing and that's normal. The second tech said they didn't know what it was but will try and research it. I have wasted way too much time at the dealership and should have come to this forum first. Please help! What could the noise be?

    Too many, but not enough....
Its the trucks ABS check. Does it everytime after you stop and start the engine. Look at your speedometer, it will happen at 6mph like clockwork. Completely normal.

In order: Orvis dog cover for rear bench seat, OE gun safe, Husky liners front/rear, Tyger tonneau tri fold, Rough Country seat covers
The ABS does “thunk” after you drive for a few seconds. Mine doesn’t squeak though. I think of squeak or squealing more like a brake squeak after rain or sitting for awhile.

Post a video with the noise if you can

Yes! It happens every time at 6mph after I start up the truck. So that is a normal sound coming from the ABS check?!

You're right, it may not be considered a squealing/squeaking sound, maybe more of a clunk or thud.

100% normal. ABS self check like all others said. I work at Toyota in service and had to show a guy that came in with the same issue on my truck then he finally believed me.

My 2010 Tacoma did it and my 2020 Tundra does it. Same “clunk” sound in both trucks. Normal.
