I have not been able to find any information on this scenario. my wheels and tires are in
295 70 18 Falken Wildpeak AT3 with Method 18" wheels @+25 offset. I thought I bought 6112s online but it turns out they were not in stock and probably cant be found for a month or so. I have the coach builder bumper shims coming and i can remove the flap /move the plastic. Has anyone actually run this combo with no lift or level? I dont want to settle for shocks I dont want. the truck will not be offroad at all until the new suspension pieces are available . Thank you

I have seen it done but do not recall if they were running stock wheels or aftermarket. It worked, tires looked stuffed but that is to be expected. You may rub some with +25, plastic, flaps and maybe skid plate but those things can be addressed.

Saw it on this site, so you may be able to find it if you search 295/70 in upper right. I do know 285/70-18s fit on stock wheels +60 with no lift without issue.

so with +25 wheels vs the stockers, you will likely have some rubbing as I mentioned earlier. Its tight but fits for stock +60

I have the TRD pro suspension witch isn’t much more than 2” over stock and tge 295/70/18’s rub so imagine it’s going to have some serious rubbing.

With the bumper shim and flaps removed you’ll clear. I ran that size on +25 on stock suspension but didn’t have bumper shim with minor rubbing on the front inner liner, had to heat gun it to push it further in. Cleared the skid plate and UCAs. It’ll look great but looks squatting without a lift.

attached photo is before the lift.

These were all terrain Nitto G2.

No rubbing on anything other than the front inner liner but with your bumper shims, you should be good have very little to no rub. I did have to remove the front mud flaps.

This next photo is 6112s on top setting and ToyTec shackles on 1.5” setting. Plan on lifting the rear if you are going with top setting. It didn’t look right until I lifted the rear.

You may glance at eBay or Facebook market place periodically for 6112s. I bought my 6112s on eBay and sold them with 5k miles on Facebook marketplace. So the deals are out there.

Rubbed on the skid plate and front plastic and mud flap. I have the Falcon wildpeak At3 w
Even with my lift had to heat up the plastic and cut the skid plate. FC84192B-70E8-40EF-BC3B-2FBD932DE4DA.jpg

And you are also on factory wheels with a different offset than what was asked about.

I know the picture I posted isn't exactly what he is doing. With my spacers and factory wheels it's like having +30 offset. His will stick out a bit farther. I have had five different wheel and tire combos on this Tundra partly because the tire shop saying they wouldn't rub.
I wish I had taken pictures before I cut and changed the shape of the plastic inner fender and the flap.

Before adding spacers I had about 1/8 space between the UC witch wasn't a problem.

Any offset that is putting the tire out farther only accents the rubbing. Without some modifications +25 with no lift won't work with that tire size unless my tundra was built differently than every other tundra out there.

My larger tires never rub in any condition. No lift.

The lift doesn't actually help with clearance anyway; you have to do the same wheelwell mods regardless.

You shouldn't need the BMC for those tires and rims.

Your trd pro suspension truck rubs with 295 70 r18’s? What tire are you running?
Fellow owners have told me the 295 in either falken or ridge grappler works well with front mud flap removal

I have 6112 at 1.9 just bought a new set of bbs pro wheels. With stock wheel dimensions since you’ve had different combos it’s been recommended to me falkens or ridge grapplers at 29570 r18:would be just fine but I don’t want an extremely heavy tire that affects the performance that I’m currently experiencing on my 21 tundra with the Michelin at tires

It's a common misconception that tire weight has a major affect on acceleration... but it's really very small. Even if we assume all that weight is at the outer edge of the tire, and you went from 45 lb/tire to 75 lbs, that would result in a 240 lb increase in inertial weight, or ~4% increase on your 6,000 lb truck. I doubt you'd feel that. But you will also have higher gearing with larger diameter, and most ATs will have more rolling resistance, plus aero drag will go up.

Get the Falkens, not the Nittos... Falkens should have lower rolling resistance.

Thank you for the information! I definitely noticed a difference on my Silverado when I went to fuel wheels and 33 12.50 Toyos.

what size would you recommend I go with? The 285 or 295?

You may notice slower acceleration again... but if you get a throttle controller (Pedal Commander, or cheaper version), you'll be happy I think.

Either 295/70r18 or 285/75r18 will be fine. 285 is ~1/2" narrower and taller.
