Are factory features compatible with a locked rear diff?

So, for kicks and grins I'm thinking about the process of adding a rear e-locker to my truck. This got me wondering what factory features, particularly things like ATRAC or Auto LSD, would be impacted by adding an e-locker. My guess would be that when the diff was unlocked that the factory features would still be doing their thing however once locked, it would be locked and that's it. Curious how having a locked differential could play mind games with the factory control equipment and whether they would begin to "fight" one another at some point.

If I'm not mistaken, those features work off the wheel speed sensors to detect slip. If one is spinning more than the other, then the abs goes to work applying brakes where necessary. If you're differential is locked, then there's no slip to detect and no reason for the auto LSD to kick in.

I'm far from an engineer, just my thoughts on how it would work.

I haven't had an issue using my locker but I almost always have the nannies turned off in any scenario where I'd be using the locker.

As I always say. " I know nothing " ?? So do nannies need to be always off or just when e-locker are in- gaged? So if e- locker is engaged while I'm off-roading an i stop for a break/ engine off, do I need to go in after engine started to again turn off nannies?? Thanks Dennis

Yes, you have to go through the sequence again, push the button, wait 3 seconds, repeat 2 more times. There are some aftermarket bypasses. The one I have (no longer available for purchase) is an on/off switch. I turn it on when I'm off road, as long as I wait +/- 10 seconds after starting the engine before shifting into gear it cycles through automatically and turns everything off. I believe there's someone on this site that makes something similar for sale? I'm not sure if nannies have to be off when the locker is engaged but I think it's a good idea.
