2019 Tundra TIS Have Actual Repair/Service Manual?

Hi,

Any one use the recent Toyota Technical Information Service subscription? $20 for 2 days access but would be worth it IF it has a full service manual which is not guaranteed..

Interested as well, but for my 2017.

 

As vehicles have become more complicated, I've seen service repair manuals grow from one 3/4" thick volume covering all of an OEM's platforms in a given brand line, to maybe 4-5 2" thick volumes covering a single body platform in a single brand.

Technicians are now young, computer savvy people that are comfortable working on a lap top. Toyota phased out printed hard copy service repair manuals between 2001 and 2008. On the wife's new Honda, she had to request a printed owner manual. Even if printed Toyota service manuals were available, you couldn't afford one. And, if you thought Toyota parts were high, just wait until you start buying technical info by the bit.

What's available is spelled out on the TIS site. For $20, I believe you can print off as much as you can in two days, but I think the Tundra service manual is over 12K pages! Better have plenty of paper, ink cartridges, and maybe a spare printer:

I guess that may be worth it and print it all to PDF and save it to my Google drive.

 

Going to bump this thread. Can you upload the information from this site onto a hard drive vs. Print?

 

You can print to PDF, that is the best way to save electronic copies of everything. Still takes forever due to the way everything is organized in there. Unfortunately I did not see a way to download everything when I tried.

 

Agreed. There’s no quick and easy way to do it, but once you get in the grove, you can move along pretty quickly. In my case, it was hours……..’21 Tundra, ‘21 RAV4 and ‘19 Avalon.
