Was a RS Canyon yesterday. Was supposed to hit Mottino Wash right off of RS Canyon but our buddy broke his axle before we got there. So we took it off to get welded back at camp.

Yeah, pretty much a shit show IMO. It was cool to see some of the trucks, class 11s, Wilkey's X Comp, and visit with vendors though. The dust was unbelievable.

Agreed! Definitely glad I got see all that but don’t think I’d pay to go back in. I couldn’t imagine camping in that!

Rebuilt my coil overs with the help of @831Tun it was pretty easy with the right tools. Installed new seals and O rings with new oil. They had about 50k miles and the oil was pretty dark Installed some new lower shock bearings and got the shocks all cleaned up and put back on the truck.

2CDC32A5-07D1-45BD-A83C-A3799A72D999.jpgordered a Camburg rear shock relocation kit. Got the brackets today, Camburg said it’ll be about 6-7 months for the bypasses to come in.

Why did you go with the camburg relocation? You plan on staying SOA or SUA?

Yea not a whole lot of them, not the ideal shock angle but I can’t lose bed space to shocks and a cage, need every inch of bed space I can get. So I’ll try my luck with a relocation kit.

I was cleaning the truck and saw some blobs of grease so I crawled under the truck and saw this little tear in the passenger side CV boot. Not sure what could’ve sliced it other than some debris that I’ve hit. The boots look pretty dried up and cracked and they’ve recently started clicking, they’ve been on the truck for 2 years to the date with 22k miles. Gunna pull them and try my luck with RCV lifetime warranty.

Haven’t done anything to the truck in a long time, but got a BulletProof hitch yesterday so I can finally tow my dads or friends boats, my future boat, and utility trailer haha. This thing is a monster weighing about 50lbs and a 12” drop. Wasn’t able to put it all the way in because it hit the spare tire, I’ll have to throw it in the bed when I tow. Still need to swap the RCV axles to OEM and ship them off to be rebuilt, that job sucks so I’ve been holding off for over a year haha!

How far off the ground does it have to be? I might have to tow something too and I've never towed before so have no clue.

No really sure how far off the ground it should be, but you want the trailer to be as close to level as possible without the tongue or ass being too high or low, Also to prevent dragging and for the best control. At least that’s my understanding. Bulletproof has a chart on their website that tells you the drop you need based on your receiver height.

Finally got these bad boys from camburg after waiting 1.5 years haha. Almost forgot that I ordered them. 3.0 x 12” double bypasses. With camburg shock relocation. Ordered new bushings, U bolts and center pins from Deaver as well as the new rear shocks will have to be cycled with the leaf pack taken apart to weld the new mounts on. Hopefully get these installed soon. Current 3.0 kings will be for sale soon
