Music industry needs to start prefixing everything with "Pop-", like Pop-Country, Pop-Alternative, Pop-Rock, Pop-R&B. Because the reality is, you really can't find the honkytonk, western swing, or bluegrass many of us grew up hearing as kids save for a "flashback" fill-in on the glut of today's pop-country stations.

I feel like "real" country kinda that ended with the rise of the big ballad heavy-hitters (Dwight, Garth, Randy) whose songs translated way to easy into the Pop-R&B world, some probably even written by Pop-R&B song writers, and drew in the popular crowds, whose interest and dollars influenced the music away from its roots.

At least there's a a few trying to keep old school sounds alive. James McMurtry, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Colter Wall. But it's just not the same. It'd be nice if someone pulled together an easily accessible group of stations that played this newer stuff mixed with the old in a cohesive way. But in the days of streaming, I don't think the motivation exists.

But if I still was using a Bluetooth FM adapter, I'd have a shorty of some kind.

Apparently, this one fits DC as well. Faces pretty downward. Hmmmm.

Tends to get in a rut, and only sticks to popular tracks. Spotify similar, albeit I've found it a bit more varied. Streaming is streaming that way.

I used a dilution of super clean, a scrub brush to agitate and microfibers to wipe the dirty foam off. Took a couple passes but it worked. Just used a crappy plastic clamp to hold the belt from retracting after pulling it all out. After letting it dry sprayed the belt and worked the PB silicone spray into the belt. Iirc it helped my retraction speed to 88mph. Pretty sure this was a PHM method thing. RIP.

Agree, I've got the family acct. I was a die-hard Pandora guy, but back then they wouldn't let you directly play a song, and that pissed me off, so I switched and never looked back.

There are certain things I find missing or unavailable that irk me, but a lot of it I have on MP3 or FLAC, so I just revert to that.

Pretty sure they added it a couple years after I originally signed up for Spotify (2014). I got kinda pissed when Pandora stopped giving me my grandfathered rate of $2.99/mo or whatever and expected me to pay more for less features. That's what motivated my hop 7ish years ago. By the time Pandora added those extra features, I was entrenched in Spotify and moved to a full family plan for myself, the kids and MIL (2017).

Sucks for them, I was a huge proponent of Pandora. But the way they handled things back then, lack of features, and crappy UI were all a pretty big turnoff. Took me moving to Spotify and learning a new UI to realize just how crappy Pandora was, and how much I shouldn't have been a fanboi of theirs.

I thinks that's what happened. pandora was great, then sucked, now it's what we use. Kinda like Netflix screwed us a long time ago, but they are good - so....

In a nutshell, yup. At this point, I'm hating most of the streaming services. We keep having to add new services to get content we want. Started with Amazon Video, added Netflix, eventually had to add Hulu, then add-ons to that, then Disney+ for the kids. It's cable TV all over again, but now I'm having to buy from a dozen different sources. Kinda tired of it.

Your post reminded me to ditch some Sht# that I don't need. But Cable all over is right. I have that too because my mother in law lives here. God forbid something changes from 1987. I guess I'm not that old yet.

Whole truck Raptor liner in olive green, leer camper cap, 5100 with OME, Wheelers AAL and Firestone Air bags.
I will be trying this out on both sides because my seatbelts don't retract smoothly. I'm assuming you sprayed the silicone lubricant only on the section that retract.

I hope the brake upgrade works out! Just make sure you don't have any extra lines going to the MC other than the two. I've seen a couple different examples of people who couldn't do it for that reason.

Wired a homerun from the battery to the left tail light so I can have continuous power to the shell's dome light. The momentary switch is broken so I'll have to fix that tomorrow. Have new gas prop shocks and a smaller 3-conductor waterproof wiring harness for the shell coming. Tech flex and an LED bulb for the shell coming tomorrow as well.

Also re-cut off all of the u-bolts under the truck to expose .75" of thread with my new cut off saw because I am a glutton for punishment.

I know you will not see them. But I care that they all have the same amount of thread showing. I plan on wrapping that homerun wire with tech flex and picking up my video cable too while I'm at it. I just temporarily zipped tied everything on.

Pulled my fogs off and check for tightness. Put red Loctite on both bolts to keep everything snug.

You fused that home run near the battery, right? Can't tell if that's what the black nub is hiding behind the battery itself on the left.

I did. It was the inline that I had left over from my Baja Designs wiring harness. There is a 30 amp fuse in there right now.

I think you already know but our MC/BSTR weren't designed for such a big caliper. I've already upgraded to the 13WL or whatever the later first gens came with.
