Yes, he made several sets for me, and they went to few old friends. Recommend having some patience and reaching out to @papasmurf if interested in 3” SOA, be worth it if only for advice.

Did you have issues with the corners of the bulge sticking up at times with those 2 end clips missing?

There was no way of keeping mine...they kept hitting the bar. Still researching the leaf springs. I'm still thinking Alcan over Deaver. The forum is so back and forth on spring opinions.

So I met a guy at T2S who was also rolling on 40s. He had Alcans with a 1000lb preload because he carried all of his tools daily for his work. I examined the springs and they were not saggy one bit. That’s when I knew Alcans were going to be my next set. My springs will have 1350lbs of preload.

Imma skip 42s and go 43s when someone invents a locking hub for the front passenger side wheel

RCV warranty has been dragging their feet on my warranty claim on the driver side that is popping so I was trying to “work” it today at the playground. Ended up busting the passenger cheapy CV axle. But no worries. The backup OEM axle I picked up from the junkyard earlier in the morning replaced it in 32 minutes.

Hey Cruz, does the PE lift pad come with a new center bolt too? I wanna convert one of my Arcan jacks. Everything is perfect except the shoulders on the head of the Arcan bolt are narrower

Does not come with a bolt. My first lift pad has an ID of 1”. The new lift pad is slightly bigger.

Thought about a washer, went and checked the extension and shonuf there's a nice void/hole for the bolt head should it stick up above the lift pad. Think I'm good to go but I wanna call 'em and see if I can get the bolt too.

Said I wouldn't buy another fridge and that all I needed was just ice for my brewskies but after transporting food in the cooler this weekend and having to deal with contaminated ice I gave in and bought a small Dometic CC 40. Fits 55 cans, that's enough for 4 maybe 5 days

I was able to recover some pictures from the phone I drowned in the pool that had videos and pictures of my truck at Sand Hollow back in June:

This guy right here is Eric, who is friends with Matt from "Matt's Off Road Recovery"
Steering rack and CV axles were busted, and the tire came off the bead.

Eric and his crew were able to drive my truck back to the staging area with no steering - amazing! They used the brakes when they needed to turn.

Yes, our trucks fit in the Sand Hollow tunnel:
