Platinum options

After watching countless videos produced by automotive journalists on the platinum I am so disappointed to find out after I have ordered my new 2022 Platinum doesn’t come standard with power retractable steps and air suspension. Every video shows the Platinum with these features giving the consumer the impression there included. Both Toyota and the Journalists are to blame for this.
Platinum comes standard with the towing mirrors and is rated to be able to tow a house around town so how can you not include these option as a standard feature. What a disappointment.

 

Platinum does not come standard with towing mirrors- it’s an add on, same as the AVS package (air suspension, HUD and air level) and the power steps.

Toyota has made this pretty clear as have a lot of the journalists. Toyota’s spec sheets have it listed clear as day.

 

It's not Toyota's fault you didn't bother to research your $70k purchase before dropping the money.

There are different option packages within a trim model.
