Can't turn down volume control 2007 Tundra

Hello Folks and hello Mr. Bob
Hoping some of you expert techno's can give me a heads up, please.
I have a still new 2007 monster Tundra big motor, 4door crew cab. her name is Ophelia
I have a great radio or at least great until now with an issue.
The radio OEM factory 638-50647-NOA typical with CD.
The issue: I can't turn the volume down at all. It is at full tilt for deaf folks.
Turn on the radio and a blast of sound waves blows my hair back or what I have left.
Tried most all common sense trying to adjust including stroking then pounding the dashboard
Basically, no volume control. So can anyone assist me with this problem, I need every hair I have.

I think there is dew build up in the ball bearings so turn the volume knob either way 100s of times and it will start working... I have the same issue..... of course bring your mickey mouse ears...
