Do you leave this device in full time to use with Fusion? I'd like to get this set up and haven't had a chance to figure out how it all works.
Within Fusion, is there a purchase option to run code for the various outputs we wish to monitor, such as transmission temps?

I literally just got it like a month ago, and yes I leave it in most all the time. I did purchase the Toyota modules or whatever it is that they call it. I’m still very new to this and haven’t quite figured it all out myself. I’m hoping it will give me good data to look at once my supercharger comes in and we start tuning the truck. I bought it based off recommendations from guys on this forum, that will probably be more helpful.

    When you buy the OBDLinkMX+
If you use the OBDLink app that comes with the device you don’t have to pay for anything all the vehicle add ons are free.

There is no reason really to use another app.

Fusion, Torque, and OBDLink are all pretty much identical programs.

Here is a helpful thread. Long and lots to read as there is a bit of a learning curve to the app.

The bigger the screen the better as on the phone it can be difficult to make some good dashboard because you are limited in size.
I have a Galaxy Tab I use to monitor when off-roading.

Updating this thread - I bought the above recommended OBDLink MX+ and did the setup this morning in the driveway while the truck warmed up. Fairly simple and straightforward to set up following the instructions and prompts. I was able to download the Toyota specific add-ons, at no additional charge.

@Black How do you have your tablet mounted? I bought a 10" tablet to run GAIA, which works great, but haven't landed on a great mounting solution. Works great in the tank bag map sleeve on my motorcycle.
