meerschaum pipe, I had to google that.
I should have known what it was.
My Dad smoked a pipe for years as I grew up.
He had several of these in his pipe rack.

First, I remember him smoking Sir Walter Raliegh tobacco then in later years Borkum Riff .
    How do I remember that?
He used to send me to the corner store when I was a kid to buy it for him.
I had to buy Mom's More cigarettes as well.
It was a different time back then.

Every bird I’ve ever smoked has left me with no leftovers because people won’t stop eating it.

as long as it’s not pre-brined, it’ll be fine. Get a full thaw in it in the fridge or a good cooler, then prepare as you normally would.

Fairly inexpensive. 2x3 frame, 3/4x8 rough sawn pine, and windows I found on CL for $10 each. Way better than the tarps I used last year

I smoked pipe in college (not the skunky kind). Never had a meerschaum though - stuck mostly to billiard pipes

We will be doing two birds on thanksgiving. One traditional one on the smoker. First big bird on the new smoker so I’m damn excited. Probably do a dry brine and spatchcock it.

I swear I saw this in Washington like a week ago when I was getting gas. Didn't have a rachet strap at the time, but the rear quarter panel was all messed up on the passenger side. You could see into it. They had a motorcycle in the boat.

While we didn’t bring home a trophy, I’m pretty sure we had the most fun. Best part was it being my oldest’s 13th birthday and I’ve never seen him happier. We may have a future driver on our hands. Can’t wait for next season.
