Any sneakerheads out there?

Nowadays If I'm buying shoes for myself they are work boots or crocs, every now and then I get the urge to buy another pair, and then I remember that 38 gallon gas tank

 

when i see this and/or watch collectors i just see a wall of wasted money lol. in reality, most of us have a money hole of our own and i'm no better so keep on rockin.

 

I haven't purchased a pair of sneakers for myself in over a decade, and now I'm beginning to sell off some of my Stash for truck/gun parts, so it ain't all bad

 

One time my friend Vince bought me a set of limited edition Fukijama's, even though he didn't have a job at the time.

got my first pair in 2010. Put about 500 miles on them then get a new pair.

I trashed one pair due to wearing down the tread to the plastic portion - became unusable

 

Here is most of them. Have a few old ones in the garage I used for yard work. Most all of them are retired from being running shoes and are just gym shoes



Sucks because it seems to be becoming discontinued for this style. So been having to find different ones… which sucks from having them be my favorite running shoe.

 

I somewhat am (mainly Nikes), and if you ask my wife, I have a problem with custom NikeId.

For Nikes my current are various pairs of Jordan 1’s, Air Force 1’s, Kobe’s, Air Max 1’s, Air Max 90’s, Metcons, Blazers, Center Courts, Internationalists, etc.

Currently loving the Air Max Pre’s, and bought all three color ways.

On a beyond infuriating note, went to Mexico a couple weeks ago and for some odd reason one of our dogs decided to chew up two of my favorite shoes. My black / gum Gore-Tex AF1’s and a custom pair of black / gum Air Max 1’s. Has never touched shoes before.

Non Nike I have some UltraBoosts, New Balance 574’s, and NoBulls. Am pretty sure I have a tote of various randoms in the crawl space as well.

I have 16 and 14 year old sons, so for the last like 4 years or so it’s been really convenient to just give them a bunch of my shoes as an excuse to get new ones.

 

Lol, my shoe collection is on a far different level than my watch and gun collection.

 

My son has a loooong time before he'll be able to get into any of mine lol, all my nephews want to go shopping in my closet though.. smh, a guy who owns a boutique locally wants to come by and check some out, hopefully he'll take a few pairs off my hands

 

I fell in love with the under armour speed freaks, they were my favorite hunting, fishing and most comfortable treadmill shoes, and of course they discontinued them..

 

Does British Knights count? Lol.. Still have a old unused pair p/u while stationed in Mainz- Kastell Germany back in the day... Way back! Lol.
Mainly running/ trainers sneaks now..

Got some Nike Airmax 2016 in good condition off Ebay for $50. Who wants to pay $160 for new shoes? Rather save my money for the Harrop.
