I popped into a stealer-ship just to see what they would offer. 2020 cm 4x4 sr5, 15k miles, even with a lift and some wilderness pinstripes they offered 45k (3k over what I paid for it). Which means I could probably get 48-50k if sold on my own.

To answer your question, nah, hanging on to it.

    Too many, but not enough....
Everything has a price, but I would not sell this truck unless someone gave me like 80k for it lol.

Dealer where i purchased my old truck at called me yesterday asking if i wanted to trade in my 06 with 73k for a 0 miles 2021 priced @ 39k. I didnt think twice and said no especially as i just replaced my windshield brakes tires and wheels. While it would be nice to be in something new i am learning to love older vehicle as Toyota has build them to last. If anything am would be in the market for older fj40

I did, still have a little regret since I'm starting over on a car note, but we needed the extra $$ at the time so took advantage. Plus, got a pretty good deal on a 17 Pro with 29k miles. Probably wouldn't do it again given the choice, but I'm not mad about having a Pro now instead of a Platinum. Only thing I miss is convertible mode (sunroof open, rear window rolled down)

I certainly wouldn't consider selling right now. While you'll get a good trade-in value, you'll pay a fortune for a replacement vehicle (if you can even find one). My dealer has offered big bucks for my 2016 Tundra, but they also want big bucks (over MSRP) for a 2022 model - eliminating any extra benefit I'd get on the trade-in. To make matters worse, they cannot even tell me when they'll be able to get me a new vehicle. Besides, I really like that big 346ci V8 in my Tundra.

By the way, not just a Toyota problem. We half-ass considered a Chevy van (another big V8), but the local dealer couldn't even get me one at any price. They spent the entire day trying to wheel & deal with other dealers, but none were willing to part with the one or two they had.

If I can get NADA clean trade value I’ll trade in today.
But so far dealer will only do 38..
