Slapped the 8" BAmuffler on. Fit like a glove. Took me about 45 mins to install it. I didn't do the resonator yet. So far the drone is very minimal(very tolerable) and it sounds :thumbsup:
It is quiter at idle and cruising than my MBRP but it definitely sounds meaner/better when on the throttle! Not sure if it's just in my head but the truck feels quicker...

Glad I went with the 8" and thanks again to Keith @dirtydeeds. Best customer service for sure!

This video doesn't do the sound justice but definitely sounds BA. Resonator NOT installed. Shot with iPhone 7

WoW! It's a darn shame I can't find a guy on here that has built his Tundra almost exactly how I want to build mine so I can copy him and take lots of credit for making my Tundra look so good. What? lol

Awesome thread and thank you for sharing all this with the community! [copies and pastes thread into new thread] :)

Did you get that pesky glovebox light. :D I bought an extra bulb like my footwell light thinking they would be the same, but my glovebox had some weird connector/bulb thing.

I do, an ugly yellow one.
It looks like the same one that lights up the drivers footwell on mine (74 IIRC), but it's not. I didn't take a picture, but after tearing apart a bunch of stuff to get to the bulb, I saw it was molded into a plastic piece that the wiring connection plugged into. The bulb was part of the plastic piece, it's weird. Since yours is a 3G it might be different though.

Edit: Also on mine, it looks like the bulb would remove from inside the glovebox. After marring mine up pretty good, I realized it had to be removed from behind the glovebox. Hence tearing apart a bunch of interior pieces.

@Tundra Fan shoots. I don't think I will tear apart panels just to change it if I do have that light. I'll check it later to see what bulb I have tho.

Interesting, I wonder how they decide to do away with certain things from one model year to the next. And now you are official....all LED:D
I don't regularly get into my glove box at night, but when I do I have to deal with an ugly yellow light.

Hey Blue... I know it is a long shot, but did you happen to measure the actual size of those 305/65 Falkens when you originally mounted them? I'm wondering just how much of a real world difference there is between manu specs and actual specs. I know BFG usually run close to 1" smaller than manu spec.

Would you be able to grab some measurements of actual size and let me know how many miles you have on them so far? I'm all over the place with my tire selection, but keep coming back to these in 305.

    It's about 33 3/8" x 11(sidewall). ~6k miles.

Honestly if I were to do it again I think I would go 295/70/18. My setup might actually be for sale if your local!

"Dislike" lol. good luck with your choice and like I said, get 295's and get a little bit more height out of it. The 305's look a bit on the small side on a 3" lift.

Been a while since I've had an update.
Installed a set of TRD Pro headlamp housings and also some leds in the grill.

Truck looks really good. You have a link to the amber lights you put in the grill?
