Greetings from Tacoma area of Washington. Just home with my new 2021 Cement Limited.
Have been in the Tundra game since 2009 when I bought my ‘06 SR5 off a lease turn back with 24K miles. That truck now has 165K with no issues. The most dependable vehicle I have ever owned. Used early on for canopy camping, then to tow our vintage trailer and 19 ft boat.
4WD came in handy for winter trips to our cabin near Lk Wenatchee in the Cascades. The new ride will be assuming these duties. Gen 1 will be passed to my son in law who lives in Boise.

The idea of losing the V-8 in the Tundra had me start searching for a replacement . Had to go all the way to the Bay area to find the truck I was looking for. First new vehicle I have ever purchased… super stoked! 825 mile trip home to try and figure out all the bells and whistles.
Only drama was taking a chunk of road debris kicked up by a truck in front of me to the windshield/roof with a loud bang. Pulled over with a punch to the gut feeling but fortunately found no damage. Only other scare was near Grants Pass, OR when a deer stepped into my lane in the dark while I was going 70. Again luckily, as I dodged left the deer went right and a collision was avoided! Averaged 16.8 mpg for the trip.

Planning to add a Snug Top Rebel canopy….2-4 month turnaround. Debadge, color match mirrors and front bumper caps, hood buldge and grille surround , clear bra, black door handles, seat covers for the dogs. Replace drop steps as they seem to collect everything thrown up by front wheels. Looks like I’ve found the place to have all my Tundra questions answered.
