The relocation is to make it easier to get to. Pretty sure a cover would not be that. I did get a cover to go over the passenger seat ejector, but it was this one.

A cover for this switch ... I do not mind the location but I hit it where it is now. A cover would prevent accidental openings.

It'a all good fun, sir. Not meant with bad humor.

If you're hitting that thing with your knees, I'm guessing you go over 5'5" tall. the button next to it will be a problem too, then. Not sure if covering the one button will solve the whole prob.

Just got my new Leer 100 XR cap installed last week. Evidently, the installation guys at my Leonard dealership don't know what cable ties are and how to adjust the doors on the cap. I spent a couple hours cleaning-up the wiring under the truck, adjusting the windoors, and setting the rear door latch to clear my Amp Research bed extender (it just barely clears, but it's enough). She's good to go now for a while (fingers crossed!). Now it's time to start making the "Prinsu" style cap rack with help from the extremely nice member @junior to basically copy what he's done on his rig:

Today I am having my Tundra lifted (ready lift) at a local Toyota dealership. Hope ya'll can help me here, this may be the wrong place to post this but I will share pics when its done.
They have reached out asking me for a couple answers of issues they are having. I am missing the lug key socket for the fuel wheels. After research it seems that mechanics have a way to remove them without the key and then replace the lugs. Now they are saying their sockets won't even fit in the lug holes of the wheels. What!?! Is this even possible? They seem to be waiting for me for an answer again. TIA

Not sure what you’re hoping for - looks like they use a 6 spline socket. If you don’t have the key and the shop doesn’t have one you’ll need to obtain one so they can remove the wheels. Check an auto parts / wheel/tire shop to see if you can pick one up locally.

Probably goes without being said, but I’ve made a habit of storing the lug adapters in the glove box so they are always there when you need them.

+1 on @AZBoatHauler 's advice. they could use to possibly remove a locking lug without a key might not fit the hole due to the side wall dimensions. Also, they may be politely refusing to do that due to it being destructive and against business best practices. Fuel says they don't help with keys, so if you know who installed the wheels, they may be able to help.

    Tough problem.

I always keep it there but this one was missing when I bought the truck. I haven't had any need for it until now and it slipped my mind when I dropped my truck off. I find it interesting that sockets won't fit in the holes. So I can just buy any 6 spline socket for the key one

I’d take the truck to ensure fit. Doesn’t sound like any work will be taking place until this is resolved.

The previous owner of my truck backed into something with the tailgate down. I still plan to replace the entire tailgate, but we are going to be going to Atlanta soon, and I wanted to "fix" it a little bit before our drive. So after a "little" percussive maintenance (it was a lot, one of the neighbors called the cops, because they thought someone was shooting a gun). I have gotten it into a state that I am comfortable with until after the thanksgiving holiday.

It's being done now. I just had to find the right person, so many lazy people. SMH
They literally didn't have the right one and said come pick your $hit up, nope can't do it.
A toyota mechanics bay and every mechanic only has Toyota specific wheel lock socket sets. I thought I was going crazy, my local mechanic and tire shop both said the same - they have many different ones because people loose these all the time or forget them.
Toyota parts man had one - which I suggested to the service advisor and told him I would pay for it but guess he was too lazy to go ask. lol

Finished up today. The camera location was a process with the old TRD grill. Can’t drill as FWD as I would have thought, but I do like having the camera a little more tucked away. I am hoping that it protects the camera from the weather but I doubt it. Mounted vertically and I may relocate after I get new bumper.
