So kinda impulse shopping and looking around at a Rzr.

In short - it’s just another toy for the collection and kind of a try it and decide if I really will enjoy it thing for our property. As enjoyable as riding up and down hills and trails in the Gator is - it’s at its heart a “work” vehicle and the Rzr would be pure “fun”.

Yes, I’m aware no one has anything in stock. Basically have to order - local dealer says end of year and will beat MSRP by 8% - decent deal ?

Looking at the trail editions - obviously cheaper and smaller…not always a bad thing to me. Cheaper and if I want to upgrade later or just sell - used market is so tight should be able to recoup - and I just feel more comfortable spending 12k over 20+.

Concerns are is the 570 to small (I get the buy the biggest logic - but sometimes it’s overkill) and buying a Polaris in general (I mean they make a million units a year - so your bound to get complaints…but of every brand I touched - it always felt like Polaris had more complaints…kinda like buying a F150).

I have a Teryx4 750 and it is fast enough. I would not buy the 570 for fun.

We have enjoyed ours in CO and Hatfield McCoy trails.

570 is not enough. The xp ride Sooo much better than the rzr s. I wouldn’t buy another Polaris. How’s that!

Better off with Can Am. Have had a lot of Bombardier products over the years, sleds, ATVs and currently a Commander UTV. Have only had one Polaris, and wouldn't get another one.

My 11 year old out grew his powerwheel John Deere gator so I went shopping for something bigger. Was looking at small kids RZR’s then that spiraled into full size RZR’s, which turned into a full size General XP4 1000. So I’m a bad influence and potentially a bad parent
That dump bed is sweet though!

My advice is buy a can am :D but for real, I'd suggest checking the used market and go for something "better". I know here in Utah the used market is insane but I can still find X3s and RZRs in the mid teens with two thousand or less miles on them. Also check out this thread, it has the most activity of any UTV threads: https://www.tundras.com/threads/atv-utvs-and-accesories.11498/

My dad has a gator, and ended up buying a little VW sand rail to play with for the same reasons as you. He didnt want to make the jump to a 1000cc machine like my Can Am, so I see your reasoning. For trails you don't need massive horsepower and suspension anyways, though if you plan to go to the desert or sand dunes I'd definitely looking at the bigger toys.

Just buy a big guy and make it road legal. A lot easier to justify the purchase of you can use it as an additional vehicle..
