I have a 2021 Sequoia TRD Pro, and a long and steep driveway in New England. It would be great to get set up with some ideal snow wheels ( steelies? ) and tires.

The TRD Pro has such good looking wheels, I don't want to get them all grimy from the winter.

Does anyone have any advice where you would actually buy snow wheels and tires? They don't need to look pretty, just functional. Thanks in advance.

look around at craigslist, FB and the forum here, there are often stock steelies for sale cheap.

As far as tires, discountire.com, tirerack.com and you can filter by size, winter tire, etc.

On the contrary, the trd pro is such a nice car I don't want to put steelies on it. I would coat it with ceramic coating and try to wash/spray it off every once in a while.

Buy the steelies,I bought steel wheels off Craigslist and put some snow tires on them. Great traction and save my wheels that came with the truck. I think it’s well worth it. Just had the truck fluid filmed today so I’m ready for snow as we get our share in NH.I do not have any tpms

Here are 33" Blizzacks on SR5 rims (powdercoated black). I bought tire sensors also so swapping them out is a snap.

Nice! So you programmed the new sensors for these rims.........does the truck remember the other sensors when you put on your other set of rims??

On my Tacoma I used to run studded Nokians but since they don’t have larger sizes, I may try and rock the Toyo Open Country AT3 year round. Nothing beats Nokians in the winter in my opinion but being able to have 1 set year round would be nice. I’ve heard good things about the AT3 too (in regard to winter).

Yes, they were programmed so the truck recognized them.

I do not recall if the sensors from both sets are recognized automatically when swapping wheel sets. I bought both sets of tires at Discount Tire, so they swap them out.

Yeah it’d be nice if it recognizes both sets of rims!

Cooper STT Pros where good for a couple years. They got very loud and rough after that. Yesterday I got Toyo AT3. Quite smooth and aggressive. I would say The AT3 is comparable to Ko2 with a larger side lug. 285/70/17
