Been driving pickup trucks in the Rocky Mountains for going on 50 years now, bought my very first new Toyota in 2011 and I guess have now got it pretty well broken in. (252,000 miles or so the last time I got gas)

Got what the dealer called at the time a "Work Truck" (small V-8, extended cab and vinyl interior) and have used it mostly for our family business hauling a 12' Utility trailer with vacation duty pulling our 24' Travel trailer + assorted grandkids.

Biggest complaint about the Tundra is that I didn't junk that old Dodge and get one a few years earlier. I generally keep a vehicle until it begins to spend more time in the shop than on the road, sell it for salvage, go get a new outfit, rinse and repeat. The way this Tundra is going it could outlast me.

I have had a similar approach to vehicles, although all but 3 were bought used. 17 trucks over 50 years.
