Everyone please forgive my ignorance, but does the TRD Pro come with a locking rear differential? I am in the process of ordering a Cement CM and the dealer is telling me that IT DOES come with one, but I was always under the impression that no Tundra ever did. Could someone straighten me out?? @ColoradoTJ

No locker, no mechanical limited slip.

This is traction control using the brakes with the loss of traction.

Don't you just love sales people that know less about what you're buying than you?

Ha, I knew it. Thanks. Yeah, they at first insisted I buy an Off Road "already on the lot" until I started rattling off the differences between the two and stated EXACTLY what I was there for (to order a PRO).

I really wish they had included an e-locker. I hate when engine speed cuts out as soon as I lose traction.

i was told the same BS about the TRD Off-road package... I figured paying an extra $2k was worth it for that... But when i realized it was just wheels & fancy (ish) shocks... i changed my order

Sales quys are mixing up Tundras and Tacomas. I learned long ago not to ask the sales dudes & dudettes technical ?s. Heard the excuse once that they cannot keep up with all the different packages. If that is the case then what do we need them for?

I think that someone makes a LSD (Auburn?), and ARB produces the ARB RD-146 for the 10.5" axle. Aside from the stock differential case those are your only options. The ARB is much stronger anyway.
