Just for brake, for cargo lights I installed led strips with 3m. For power it’s tapped into the hot 12v on the 7pin tow hook up. Downside is it only works with the key in. I need to wire it to the battery, just been lazy

Cool, yeah, my shell 3rd brake has been off taillight T tap for 20 years now. I’m going to redo to integrated T harness for DIR and shell with the new taillights.

The chmsl ground is going to loop to the shell connector so that when the shell is off I can plug a loop back to restore cab chmsl. Doesn’t serve any purpose when the shell is on

I took in some material in to have a new set of 'Drapes' sewn (yes you read that correctly) for the shell on my DC.
The gal doing them is backed up, and it's been over 3-weeks . . . so any day now.
I'll post pics. after I get them installed so you hounds can have a field-day heckling me ! LOL

These are for the HVAC controls right? Realized all three of mine are out and hoping it's just new bulbs, any chance that's the case?

Pulled the fogs and got some aluminum bar stock to clamp them better. Zipped tied the wire as well and put some thread locker on the bolt. This should be good to go now.IMG_7040.jpgIMG_7041.jpg

Got my DD lights mounted on my ditch light brackets. All wire is ran, I just need to connect the +\- and the ignition hot to the auxbeam controller and we’re good to go! 293D3971-3A4A-41AF-B649-26A905194436.jpg1FC8C586-10A8-4B66-A49B-5F9BC9AB9119.jpg

Installed fog light switchbacks from deAuto LED. Lifetime warranty. Very satisfied with the quality and brightness.

In the pictures the headlights look blue but they're more white. The yellow lights in person look like a deeper yellow. I wasn't able to get a true representation picture of the fog lights.

For the side markers I used Amber LasFit. They are bright and never flicker or fail early. Matched it with a 8-pin flasher relay that supports LED.

I need to find someone who can paint the inside white plastic a chrome color. My white bulbs are off white in mine cause the whites yellowed with age and heat from the old bulbs

These are the white LED bulbs with the original green balloon from the existing bulb I used for the HVAC cluster, ashtray, glove box, ignition, and cigarette lighter. The secret to remove the glove box bulb is to get a rubber tube that fits over the existing bulb tightly to remove it.

For my 2002 Tundra SR5 AC TRD with factory JBL double DIN radio. I Installed ATOTO S8 Pro with front and reverse cameras. Bluetooth OBD2 scanner for Torque. A Kicker 10” subwoofer under driver seat. Using factory JBL amp and speakers. The DSP on this radio made these factory speakers sound high end at normal listening volume. So many options to adjust crossover, field of sound, subwoofer frequency, etc. Distortion starts when you crank it loud enough to allow others not in the vehicle to hear. I don't listen to music that loud anymore. So this is a perfect setup for me.

I got about a year out of one of these cheap flashers on my 08 Lexus before it stopped flashing and just stayed on solid. Just a heads up. The diode dynamics one has tap for lane change and that made it all worth the $50 or $60 that it costs.

I’ll second the diode dynamics tap for lane change. That’s a fantastic upgrade over the stock behavior.

I wish there was a way to connect a obd reader to my kenwood radio. How does it connect to yours? Is it via Bluetooth or cable?

Are these it? If so, that will be my next upgrade.

Not only that it has a single tap (4 flashes) for Lane change but it has a strobe option for emergency lights. Thanks for the recommendation.

It connects to my HU via a second built in Bluetooth receiver. My first Bluetooth receiver is being used for my phone to answer calls.

It is very responsive. My rpms and GPS displayed on the screen has no delay compared to the actual gauges.

Nice! I also installed an ATOTO S8 and it's been great. Let me know how your OBD2 works after the first couple of weeks. Mine doesn't always turn on (ELM327 clone like yours) and it requires a disconnect/reconnect to work. The Torque app is amazing for what it can grab. May go with a Bluedriver next though, as at least that's real.

Reinstalled the ‘new webbing’ seat belts today. They are definitely a different pattern and the color isn’t exact but it sure beats a $850 price tag for OE belts. Overall I’m happy and thrilled that my clothes won’t get torn up anymore from the shoulder belt.

Bout 900 bucks later, my boy’s front brakes are done. Toyota handled the labor and gladly took my money for OEM parts:rofl:

I know we all about that DIY life, but the house and 2 acres got the better of my time, and I completely neglected the 05 since my boy has been away. He was always the one who let me know when things needed to get worked on, and keep me up to speed on the Tundra. About 245K on the old girl, 900 bucks towards keeping her on the road, I can deal with.

Finished wiring my Auxbeam switch panel I won at T2S. So far the compressor and the two ditch lights are wired in and it works great! @des2mtn send me your address and I’ll send that seat bracket switch mount if you want it. I have had my ODB2 connector for a year and no issues so far.

So many gauge themes and options you can select from Torque.

Had to go on a call last night, first impressions of the diode dynamics pro with flood optics; they suck! The light it scattered way too much, the headlights seem to be brighter than the floods.
So I’ll look at getting a spot or driving combo lens to swap out

A few days ago I decided to pull the alarm that was on my truck when I purchased it. A 2 way scytek. Replaced it with a compustar 7900AS with remote start. I regret it after I started it lol but saved me a lot of money. They are expensive where I live.

Did you have the “lazy” retractor issue with those? We’re they able to fix them?
