    Hey first post here,

Thinking of getting the new tundra hybrid.
I'd like to get a cat-less turboback exhaust and a custom tune. I don't know a thing about Toyota tundra tuners.
    Who are the best?
Anybody have a time line for when they will come out with bolt ons (exhuast, intercooler, etc.)?
What are some good shops in nor cal or the bay area?

2022 hasn't been released yet. You'll probably be waiting a while for someone to crack the ECU. They haven't even cracked the 2020+s yet.

    Thanks for the reply.

By a while, maybe 2-3 years or sooner?

What tuning companies trying to crack the 2020 tundra ecu?

Brand new design and truck, not available yet, we do not even have pricing on the models. So, there is no aftermarket tuning, support or products available yet.

But Tundras are popular and have pretty good aftermarket support, so once the trucks start hitting the streets, companies will start designing and building parts and products for them. No way to speculate how quickly or slowly that may occur.

    I stand corrected:
D3 Performance just announced support for Gen2.5s
OV Tuner has 2020+ listed as supported *"Certain models like 2019 and 2020 Tundra ECUs are not supported."
HP Tuner last I checked is working on 2019s and up

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
OV Tuning claims to have broken the code for the V35A-FTS in the LS500 but didn’t do much with it due to low volume and basically no demand.

Guess we’ll see if he can tune the new Tundra, certainly should be a lot more tuning potential than the 3UR-FE.

Vftuner claims that we will have "day 1 support" for the 2022 Tundra. Including the Hybrid.
    We shall see!!
I am excited and hope to be able to tune the 2022 Tundra SOON!

Non hybrid with intake, tune and catback should be pretty amazing. Its typical to get 100+ rwhp and tq from simple tunes alone on turbo engines.

Couple years at least. R&D on an all new vehicle takes time.

Hopefully the tundra is underrated, like this LC seems to be.

LS motors in camaros/firebirds etc were rated around 300hp when they came out in the late 90’s…lot of them were making 310, 320rwhp bone stock.

It showed too because they absolutely shit all over my old 5L Mustangs:rofl:

Have to wait and see though…lot more internet gimmicks today.

Unfortunately I havent seen one review/video suggesting it feels any better than anything out there already.

Yes too soon to say I think. The 0-60 acceleration videos I’ve see of the new v6tt tundra and LC don’t look to really improve on the 5.7 times for the current models. I’m waiting to see some official posted 0-60 and 1/4 mile times to make a judgement on it.
