I think trailer blind spot monitor is a really cool feature for the 2022's and I know it is available on most of the big 3's half tons.

However, while reading the press release, I noticed the following:

"When connected with Toyota’s integrated trailer brake controller, even the Blind Spot Monitor can recognize blind spots for not just the truck but the trailer as well."

Most boats (well, mine) use surge brakes that aren't recognized by the brake contoller. You need hydraulic electric brakes for brake controller integration. The way I read this, the trailer brake BSM feature won't work with the vast majority of boat trailers that use surge brakes.

    Hope I'm wrong.
