I have a first-generation tundra and I want to raise it to give it an undercoating of Fluid Film. I want to do it safely. I have a 3-ton hydraulic jack and two support jacks. Diagrams and pictures would be helpful. Thanks

Harbor freight drive on ramps. I have two sets of these. Superb. Strong. Lightweight. Anti-rust. Does good, and requires no jacks, or jack stands. Perfect for oil changes or any other "gotta get under there" stuff

Jack points are supposed to be under each side of the rear axle between the pumpkin and the wheel. The front is under the boxed portion of the frame in front of the driver and passenger door where it hinges to the body.

I suppose you can jack up the front and then do the rear later. With a bottle hydraulic jack (if that's what you're talking about) I'd jack it up on each side placing a jack stand under the side you're jacking individually.

With a floor jack, you could jack up the pumpkin and place 2 jack stands at a time.

When I did fluid film I didn't jack the truck up at all. Should be plenty of room to crawl around under it. Just put a tarp down if doing it on the driveway or garage. Probably want a tyvek suit and maybe a mask too.

Hell yeah, I picked up a pair similar to these and a couple of Mack branded jackstands for $40 total. Barely used. I think maybe someone ordered thinking they'd learn how to do all their own maintenance, then never followed through....

I’m gonna say, lots of love, feed it well, spend plenty of time with it, make education a priority and teach it about the value of saving money.

Here are the lift points from the owners manual of a 2005. Always use stands.

I have this same set, really nice quality, plus they have holes on skinny side perfect for hanging on a nail for storage. Never needed them for the truck tho, but they are clutch for the rav4 oil changes.

Super handy to have. I used to leave a set in the trunk of the corolla incase I need to get under there while on the road.

    Food box replaced them.
