I did not. Had the sports on my Tundra and liked them so went with them again on the Tree. To me they have great output for a fog and noticeably better than stock. What I value most from them is the side visibility gained. I have never been high-beamed by oncoming traffic either.

Ok cool I’ve only run baja so I’m wondering if the brightness is the same as the sport for them

According to specs of each, it looks like the Baja has about twice the lumens over the DD Sports (Pros have more than the Baja's). However, according to the Baja's light output diagram the DD's may have better side (cornering output) which I like. Up to you, but for the premium that the Baja's require I like the DD's value.

If you want SAE compliant fog lights, I believe the Baja is very underwhelming. https://www.tundras.com/threads/baja-designs-squadron-sport-v-s-diode-dynamics-ss3-sport.80721/

I have the DD SS3 Pro and love them. Super bright, sharp cutoff, great spread of light and was a good deal when they have sales. Also, with the 6000K LED headlight color, the combination of the yellow and the white makes it easier on the eyes during snow time.

The KO2s were nearing 50k miles and getting a little slick and noisy, so I took advantage of a deal on some Pro takeoffs and went with the Coopers based on weight, price, and mostly good reviews.

Thanks, the Pros are growing on me over the RWs. I have two sets of the RWs, but can’t bring myself to letting them go.

Looking good! Hope she likes it.

Really liking the new tire/rim set up. Tires literally exhibit zero road noise and are very smooth. I'll get a side shot and post soon.

Sweet looking Sequoia! We gonna need to get those door handles swapped out ASAP tho. Color matched white or even Attitude Black would make a huge difference.

I agree. Just haven’t gotten around to buying a new set of black ones.

I actually have the mirror caps already.

@MSU Tundra thanks for this discussion—it’s been very helpful to me in thinking of about mods to my 2013 sequoia limited.

could you share an update, especially how you’re feeling about the wheels/tires choices you made? I’m still debating the 17”RW vs 18”TRD Pros. From your earlier post it looks like you ultimately preferred the TRD Pro’s. Was that about the looks or the driving dynamics? And have you been happy with the Coopers? Thanks again.

I sold the Sequoia to go back to a Tundra, but to answer your questions I only made the wheel change to switch up the looks. I am still a huge RW fan and like 17" wheels in general. However, there are more suitable sizing options when you go to the 18" size. My Tundra will be getting 18" wheels with the same Coopers next month. I really like the Cooper AT3's from a looks, cost, weight, and performance (both on and off-road) standpoint.

Thanks again. I'm sorry I missed the sale of your 2014! Best of luck with the Tundra build, and please let me know if you ever decide to part with the RWs. I'm actually in MS later this month.

Can you confirm the tire size of coopers you ran on the r18 Pro wheels? Did 295/70 fit, or was that the size if your 17" RW tires?

Sorry I sold both sets of my RWs a few weeks ago. The tires for the 18” wheels are 295/70 and the 17s had 285/75.

Thanks again. Any mods needed under the sequoia to avoid rubbing the 295/70 tires?

Depends greatly on your offset value. Someone on mud runs 315/70r17 with a +40 evo corse wheel with no lift and no contact.

This is true. Too little offset or too much causes issues with pretty much any tire size increase.

With that said, my particular application had no rub with factory offset Pro wheels, ~2" lift , and TRD skid plate (factory skid plate has "wings" over the sway bar that can get in the way).
