    What trim is that?

Wonder if lift will be compatible with the air ride?

Limited with TRD OR, I'm guessing it won't be optional with air ride

I'll say this, I've been part of countless truck, car, motorcycle, off-road, UTV, etc. forums since darn near the dawn of internet. This is by far and away the most argumentative forum I've ever seen. Makes the Ford, Ram, and even GM truck forums tame in comparison. It's like a bunch of 16yr old's got bored fighting in YouTube comments and decided to come here :boink:

this isn't anything compared to the pickuptruck.com war room back in the day, lol. I cut my teeth as a tundra owner there, wasn't easy.

but I still talk to a lot of the guys today after all those years.

this site is good, this thread I largely blame toyota for since they slow rolled the rollout and release a lot of errors in the process and stupid ads.

people are just excited for a new tundra after all these years and want all the fucking around to stop and just release the damn thing, after all they are hitting the lots soon and we dont even know if they cost 30K or 80K and the spec sheet is error city and so is the site with the colors, etc that was just updated.

lol, I dont have any anger at all, I just though it was stupid.

especially using a Pro for that shot. kinda sums up the roll out of this truck so far.

I do want a 2022 platinum tundra in blueprint though, have to figure out how to fit it in the garage though. Now the 5 extra inches, THAT I am angry over since its worthless space with a smaller bed, smaller interior, etc. but alas, its a tundra so I will test drive it for sure!!

For sure man, I am right there with you - especially with that comment re lighting up the pumpkin with the inverter lol. I think some of the decisions are completely foolish especially when it comes to the roll out. I can understand the garage aspect, but for me personally, my cars are out on the driveway all year long because the garage is packed with tools and supplies, so it's a non-starter for me. That I said, I fully recognize this being a real issue and makes me wonder about some of the oversights, or what seems to be gaps in market research, on the side of Toyota.

But it is funny reading people get all up in arms over things that they cannot control in the immediate future.

I'll tend to agree there, I think Toyota's release tactics for this new model is rather poor. I tend to think it was their crude marketing attempt to gain interest for the "new" truck while chip shortages and alike are hampering their ability to MFG. No different than any other OEM right now but I think Toyota tried to get clever while not fully admitting they can't physically make the truck right now.

Wow, that's cool as hell. I was expecting a lift like the Tacomas get (5100s in front and block+5100s in rear.)

would be even better if it was from the factory and not dependent on dealers to install it.

sometimes I cringe with them just changing my oil, LOL.

but nice to have some real info for sure

I think that additional approach and departure gets it back to the stock 2021 numbers, and an extra inch or so of ground clearance.

Okay...looks decent. But, I'm confused (not uncommon). We don't even have a full release of the TRD Pro for another 4 months at least. We can't even configure/option one out right now and don't know what it costs. So why would Toyota showcase a 'Raptor' competitor concept but with the same pp? Wouldn't they need to do some work on the engine to increase the HP also? All of which drastically increases the price from what we don't even know now. Just feels jenky, as my kids used to say.

Haha....I thought about making a pumpkin joke but figured enough is enough .

I do wonder though why THIS wasn't the truck they used in the commercial with all that rubber in the bed. Would've made more sense.
