4 new and a used vehicle since June of last year… I have yet to pay MSRP/asking price or above.

Trade-in were always equal or more than what I paid

Curious when and what were the new vehicles. I didn't really see msrp plus until about March April this year 2021 and a few cars brands are still under msrp

Interesting thread, I didn’t realize that the Tundra is the new pickup exotic? Why would you want a pledge to lock in at msrp? If a dealer mark it up, it’s ok. They are there to see what the market will support. When you have folks buying over msrp. Guess what it’s their problem. You don’t know their financial state. But it also works the other way around dealers mark it up and if a consumer doesn’t buy, then dealers start bringing the prices down. Everything is negotiable. It all comes down to two things. How bad you want it and how bad the dealer wants to sell it.

By using the term "critic", I was trying to be polite; something that a few people on this forum seem to have trouble with. Some people just want to (for whatever reason) be combative. In my opinion, that simply takes away from the spirit of the post. But, whatever.

    Politeness is subjective.
    Bluntness is honesty.
Is it better to be your version of polite or to be honest?
    Hm.
Sounds like you’re being a critic.
    You should work on that.
