My neighbor told me his brother sells Toyotas and that the new models are going to have less chips in them. And therefore the new ones will be about $5k less than the '21s. Oh and also the gas mileage will be worse. I didn't know what to say, so I think I just said, "neat."

I think we can file that one under "you heard it here first, folks"

That’s fair but only a homo would point it out! Cheers to knowing what homophones are! I hope you have a loaded baked potato this evening and think about me.

In Engine system speak CDI stands for Capacitior Discharge Ignition (Electronic ignition) perhaps Childrens Discovery Institute is a better Description for the way some people treat each other on this site when they voice their dislike of some ones opinion.
    on that note
I live in a million plus dollar plus home that's paid off and I couldn't remember what a Homophone was either .I assume its like (Flower and Flour)
I guess I was too busy advancing my technical skills to further my career.
I think someone with an English Lit degree served me my coffee today .
The degree wasnt a total waste as my name was spelled correctly :
For all you with an English Lit Degree I apologize ,I spent too much time in Auto class and not enough time in English.I have already burnt out 3 spell checkers . I wish i spent more time in Drama or interpretative dance.I could have been Prime Minister by now..Have a Safe Halloween all

Also… you should probably think about your reply for another two weeks. Maybe, you could come up with something a little better.
You sure are fragile for someone supposedly living in $1 million house.
Go enjoy your dreams about you know who.

Just more rumour to the rumour mill.
When prompted for an update the Canadian Dealership i have a deposit with said they heard Canadian pricing wont be released until
Dec 17 ,same time truck are due on the lot .
They supposedly dont know but figure a 10% increase ..in Canada they start for 21 tundra is $47,000 plus tax $1800 ish destination fee.

How would a 10% increase sit with you?
I was wishful thinking for 6%

didn't learn anything about "Pricing" in this thread but learned something knew ;) today. Maybe I new it but forgot.

    Homophone definition:
each of two or more words having the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling, for example new and knew.

I think in general people try to give friendly advice based on their needs, age and experience ... and we should not get too excited about it.

Pricing, LOL... Don't most dealers just play with the numbers to get people into a payment they think they can afford?

That would put the SR5 off-road at about $57,000 which is basically the starting point for the new Tundra. Not many people will entertain a lower model. Not sure on the 2022 Silverado price but a 21 is still $51000 in trail boss with the 6.2 and 10 speed transmission. If 10% is true the limited tundra with the pano roof and 14 inch tv will be $63,000, pro will be $76000. I think they will sell at this price due to supply issues right now but if the supply BS gets fixed the Tundra will have a hard time selling at those prices. Toyota doesn’t like 0% financing or rolling back prices.
    In Canada I’m saying the SR5 off-road will be $53,900, limited $58,900, platinum $67,000 and pro $74,900.

I think those are pretty good estimates . Its cutting into the gas money I was going to save by going with the 2022 vs the 21. I also think those are aligned with comparable Ford models as I suspected . Hopefully the US prices come out today.

Historically, the Japanese cars have been priced a little better than the domestics but the domestic have all kinds of gimmicks. Employee pricing, $12,000 off, 0% for 6-7 years etc. So if an F-150 is $60,000 a similar Toyota should be lower. If Toyota prices the limited tundra at the same price as the F-150 in a year or two the Ford will have so many Costco rebates that it will be $5,000-$10,000 cheaper than the tundra.

I have been driving a loaded f-150 2017 3.5 twin turbo. No problems. Just sold it with 90k on it. It may not have everything the ford has but if it is 10k less the tundra is a no brainer. If they are the same price I will most likely look at a domestic. Though I hate that.

Don’t be a moron. I’m not hating anything. As far as I can tell, you’re the one complaining.

Do you have AC in your home or just crank windows? I’ve renovated every square inch of my home as well. Myself. On a budget. Hooray.
