I'm in Canada, at the time they just started discontinuing stocking them so it was cheap.

Yes, front is literally just the bar, where rear you get bunch mounting hardware.

Installed the rear about a month ago and have since been on two trips with it while towing a travel trailer. Literally night and day difference as it eliminated the trailer sway and it feels like it's towing on rails now.

Any interference issue with aftermarket shackles and rear sway?

I have Coachbuilder +3's installed and no issues. The shackles "reduced" rear articulation due to hitting exhaust. I like the factory trd exhaust and figured the reduced articulation from the sway bar is a good thing in my situation.

Does the +2 CB shackle interfere with the TRD Pro exhaust?

0EE7421D-6186-40E6-85A1-0D2123E75682.jpg I did the rear then front. Like most say the rear is where you really feel the difference. The look is a completely different family meeting. Since I had the front tow hooks off to do the front I sprayec them TRD red too.

I ordered both over the Summer. Put the rear on right away and it makes a significant difference in body roll reduction. I need to put the front on, but getting that skid plate off is a pain in the ass solo. Thinking about being super lazy and letting Toyota do it when I'm due for oil.

I personally think it’s a bad idea to put sway bars on a TRD Pro. They’re specifically designed to go off-road and when you add the sway-bar it just compromises articulation and handling Off-road.

Well, that could be true but I don’t drive my truck based on what other people do. I personally think it’s a waste of money to keep that truck on the road. I was just giving the OP my opinion.

No poseur off-roading for this guy. My TRD Sport came stock with the anti-sway bars and is a pavement king. I attack them curves....

Rear sway bar, trd air filter, running boards, sound deadener in doors, upgraded speakers, cargo glide, topper, Roof racks, overland awning.
Rear sway bar addition was the best add on ever.
Now the truck handles like a dream.

Anyone spent time in the snow with the rear sway bar.?? I was wondering how stiffening up the rear would affect handling in super slippery conditions.???

After driving my 21 Pro on roads and being attentive, I’m not sure rear sways are needed. BUT, I never driven a Tundra with them. It seems like a lot of the body roll comes from the not so great tires.

Also, if you mod the shocks/struts with king, fox, icon, etc. does the sway bar benefit diminish?

You spent more on the pro for the massive shock upgrade, I wouldn’t replace them…

the factory tire pressure setting is too soft, bump slightly to help with body roll as well

however i can say in regards to icon, they are much stiffer than stock and yes they reduce body roll by a TON

A different question on kinda a similar topic....

I just had fox 2.5 dsc's installed on the front and rear. I've actually been considering removing the front sway bars since i can adjust the dsc settings to be stiffer if needed.I suspect this would increase the articulation in the front as well for offroad.

It's my first custom suspension on a truck.

    Thoughts....

I did have the TRD rear sway bar on my previous tundra with stock TRD sport suspension and really liked the additional support in the rear.

I live in Alberta where we have six months of snow a year. And as my daily driver I have both front and rear sway bars on the whole time. It gives me much more confidence and comfort driving in crappy road conditions. This is way more important than anything else. I keep both on. And I always think tundra is not an off road truck. I had a Tacoma pro before the tundra pro it was a different story.

you could try it. I found the springs on icons to be so much stiffer the sway bar was unnecessary
