See picture. Not sure of the part name, but it covers the outside edge of the driver's side seat bottom on my 2016 SR.

The original one broke off from me sliding my butt across it when exiting the truck. Parts guy at local dealer says it happens all the time, and they they just did it to their parts runner truck.

Anyway, I got the new part but I can't seem to figure out how to get it on there. I really don't want to break it by forcing anything. I took the old broken one off over a year ago, I don't remember any real tricks to it.

    Any suggestions?

Got it done! Not simple. First step is to remove the remains of the broken off clips that are still left in the seat. Next, resist the urge to clip the ends of the seat fabric to that bottom wire. That's not where it goes. It goes "under" the seat foam. Check opposite side for reference. Final tips, remove plastic handle from back rest lever to get it to go through the hole in the new cover. All done! And yes, I am in the market for running boards now to keep this from happening again!
