Sorry just saw this..... Ya steering is alot more stout at low speeds. No darting at higher speeds. Truck just feels a bit more in control then before them.

It was as quick as doing the mirrors. Start to finish maybe 15 minutes to change out all 4! Looks much better. Can’t wait to do the grill. Deciding still if I want to black out the emblems or completely delete them all.

Got my bed Line-x'd today and front windows tinted to match the rears at https://www.truckbuildersllc.com
It pays to shop around. Jim has been in business 22 years, and his quote was $100 better than the other shop. Plus he removed and replaced the bed bolts, which the other shop wouldn't touch. On top of that he threw in the Line-x on my motorcycle guards. The total chaos bed stiffeners were sprayed over, and look great - we'll see how they hold up.

I would have preferred the factory spray-in bedliner, but my choices were limited.

Very nice. Does this module only work from the drivers switch only or each door has its own control as well?

I keep going back and forth on the pillar trim. I like the black on the SSM, but also feel like it would look a lot cleaner without that trim.

Had the windshield replaced after it cracked in two different spots in the first 5000 miles without any obvious impacts. It seems like the glass on the newer ones is not as thick or strong as the previous years or something.

That happened to me several years back on my '95 F250 7.3L diesel. *THAT* S.O.B. was hard as hell to drive or park with no power steering.

Anyone know if this grill will work for my 2019 Tundra 1794? I think it will but want to be sure.

It's off a 2021 Tundra. All the guy says in his ad is:
Have a nice trd tundra grill insert off of a 2021 tundra

    He's asking $75.

There were some differences in the way the emblem mounts introduced between '19 and '20 that may trip you up. I had a parts expert tell me my emblem wouldn't work in the replacement I bought, but it did; so there may not be a great way to tell other than looking at the back of the emblem. It's trouble to open that space up to take a peek, but that may be the better plan if the $75 is more than you can risk on the problem. Folks sometimes break the tabs as they're extracting the insert from the surround, so that would be worth asking before you show up to purchase.

    Yeah, $75 isn't much and if it doesn't work...it's only $75 and I could probably re-sell it.

I'll make sure the tabs aren't broken and if not, probably roll the dice and pull the trigger.

Also, wondering if it'll look weird having chrome surround and this grill.

Added some trail comms. Stealth UHF antenna mounted to ditch light bracket. GMRS base station on a mag mount on lower dash. Probably not the best ground plane for the antenna but I didn't want to mount it to my roof. Initial range tests have been surprisingly good even non-line of sight. Power comes from the cigarette lighter.
