Got it I believed you where going to delete the SAIS but want to do it after inspection.

I know on the 4runner forum some guys have used or headers but they had to cut and weld one of the tubes over the other ones to fit. Also they had to dimple the header around the steering linkage.

    It would be great if I could fit a 04 - 05 4runner tri-y on my tundra

Correct not sure how we can determine if 4 runner headers will fit our trucks with miner tweaks.

I was thinking in ordering also but didn't want $800 headers hanging out in my garage

Dirt Deeds injectors, Addco rear sway, AEM dry flow air filter, last ever set of Stan's Try-Y headers, Borla full custom exhaust, front level, wheel spacers, and lots of electronics.
They have arrived. Last ever built set of Stan's tri-y headers for the 2UZFE. Ceramic coated in titanium satin silver. Going to have a good old time installing these.

Going to be about 2 weeks or so before the dyno and write up. Want to let them break in and allow the ECU to go through some self-learning.

No need to worry about the headache you'll have removing the lower bolts on the manifold if you sell them.

So my manifolds are gone to the curb long ago. What spacing did you want to see at the motor mounts exactly?

Yes. I will have a write up thread on how to do it after I install these. I have ultra high temp (2,000*F+) medium strength thread locker and aluminum plugs. Aluminum so they will expand/contract at around the same rate as the heads to help prevent leaks and the plugs backing out.

Edit** almost forgot I have the Hewitt SAIS bypass kit already. My pumps were making the vacuuming noise upon start up and had the SAIS check engine light about a year ago that resolved on it's own. I'll be documenting how to install the Hewitt pump block off plates when completely changing over to 00-04 headers.
