I really like Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions ceramic spray wax. I originally wrote it off and tried CMX, Meguires and a few other ceramic hybrid waxes but kept coming back to this stuff. There are a few reviews and tests on YouTube where the turtle wax out lasts all the others on durability tests and still keeps beading. I also like that it works well with all the plastic trim pieces. I was a Turtle wax fan when the ICE came out and was one of the forst to work well on plastic trim.

So you cam make fun of my OCD detailing I usually go with a multi product coating on my vehicles. I start with Jepson paint sealer then add a layer Collinite over that and then finish off with the Turtle wax hybrid as a top coating. This combo gives a great shine, depth and will last me at least 8 months even in AZ.

I have also tried a basic do-it-yourself ceramic but I was not impressed with the results for the price. I would rather stick with old school and I actually like detailing and waxing my truck. Graphene wax was supposed to be the next big thing but all the reviews seem to be hype and it isn't quite what they make it out to be.

I’ve been using Collinite 845 for a few years now. Works great, easy application, no white marks on black trim, even use it on the grille, headlights, and license plate to make bugs easier to get off. CC2BD2D7-8923-4BEE-A536-3636EC1E43FF.jpg

I don't use wax anymore. Put this on everything, windows, trim, everything. So easy and quick and incredible shine. I buy it off Amazon

    CQuartz line of coatings here.

I’ve also used, in the past, Opti Coat and GTechnique. Also, had the opportunity to try GYEON.

As I tell clients/interested parties, after discussing with them expectations, care routine, and budget…find what you like and use it because it is what fits you and your expectations.
I also advise folks on coatings, whether it’s ceramic or Graphene, it may not be for them and their situation.
The thing I caution about applying coatings is prep is key. That can determine success or failure hence peoples opinion.

All good products recommended here. For my money, nothing beats Griots 3-1 for ease of application, price, and durability. For 22 bucks, you get enough to do a Tundra at least three times, and I can attest that a single coat will last six months with no maintenance.

I love anything from shine supply. Results are usually fantastic and they give a discount with the forum code.

What would be best for something that sits outside under trees? I get small reddish stains from the leaves.

Megs ultimate and a top coat of beadmaker keeps my black truck nice and dark, clean, shiny, protected for about 4 months with weekly washing.
