Welcome from CO! Pretty simple, pull the two bolts from the carrier bearing and add the shims above the U bracket and run the bolts back through and cinch her up!

Agree with the above statement. This will literally be the easiest part of your lift. Welcome and don't forget to post pics of your truck!

No. There should be 2. Look at every one of the spacer kits below.

That's a time-lapse video, and shouldn't be taken as instructional. Ignore it for your purposes. You should have 2 spacers.

Because all lifts don't require them (small lifts) and plenty of people source their own. I think it's dumb, but those are the answers they'd give you.

They are out of their minds. There are 2 different sizes depending on the lift amount, and for a reason. They correct the driveline angle. Without it, you will get a vibration during acceleration from a dead stop.

Ya …. But from stock to a 7 inch ? That’s a huge jump I can see the 4.5 inch not having one
    Anyway here’s before and after

Could always just stack washers. The drop kits are nothing special.

That’s what I ended up doing. I had the spacers but when I added another inch in the rear I just stacked washers to get the correct angle.

They are two 1” spacers. Right now I’m at two stacks of 1.5” washers.
