I'm sure you'll get better advice than this but here goes:
I used "clutch" from Shine Supply after using their cleaner to deep clean the plastic first.
I left clutch on and did not wipe off. This also works wonders on the spray coat on the bed (linex).
However, you have to clean the plastic off first. I have plastics i cleaned and treated that still outshine stuff from 2 years ago. the spots i didn't deep clean first the stuff wiped off pretty quick.

    good luck

Frequent application of Mcguires ultimate black here on some things others get Starbrite marine protectant. Some get both.

I use this stuff on tires, works great, sticks thru some rain storms but eventually rinses away.....but always Cerokote on plastic trim because it lasts so long. Treated several areas on the truck with it a year ago and they still look freshly done.

I was worried the wipes won't get into the areas on the rail/bumper plastic with the raised texture of the plastic.

Take your time. Be methodical about complete/even coverage the first time. If you’re a half asser find someone who’s a little ocd. The wipes are very wet so soaking into texture isn’t a problem.

Lucky you, seems like I am doin good if I get 10 days out of it. I would be ecstatic to see a month! Not a big deal since I try to clean the truck weekly. Between it and my 4Runner, I get some exercise in!

    Restore - Solution Finish
    Protect - Cerakote
Best all around at both - Shine Supply Trim Shield. (Doesn’t restore as well as Solution Finish, or protect as long as Cerakote, but is better than both in the areas they’re weak in. )

Got some of this and tried it out on our Corolla cowling. Followed instructions, cleaned, let dry, etc. Definitely made it very dark-problem is it's streaky. Maybe it does better on textured plastics?

I have tried many different kinds and found Black WOW Trim Restorer to work pretty good. The key is multiple coats and a little goes a long way. Got some Wolfgang trim sealant that I tried on my wife's car and it worked well. I haven't found any that last unless you put a topcoat of protectant on them.

Yeah, short of painting, I don't think any of these restorers last more than a few months.

Solution Finish by a million. Follow with a ceramic of your choosing to lock it in even longer (Cerakote, Undrdog Pro, etc).
