Has anyone purchased these just being curious how they’ll fit or look? I see them on Amazon all the time and wonder sometimes..yes fake carbon fiber but easier to prep and paint rather than pull truck apart?? Anyone?? pictures???0B3A95B9-57F1-4CFC-BD11-C24515BBC4B2.jpg

I can see that looking like crap IMO. You lose the "flushness" of the interior trim lines.

Yeah I feel the same but keep seeing them and I know others are as well just wondered if anyone used any of this and or painted or left carbon fiber?? I know the fake carbon fiber is very tacky (my own personal thoughts) but sometimes people pull it off well.

People were hydrodipping their dash pieces a while back. Expensive but looks good depending on what you choose.

I don't have that one, but now I see they are available I'll probably buy one.

I got the steering wheel cover kit off Amazon, and the knob and door cover off a vendor call cartrimhome (it's a mouthful), I'm 100% sure its all from the same factory.

The knob and steering wheel trim covers are pretty good, actually beyond my expectation, its nice and tight and I can barely see trace of the silver:

door handle cover is a meh...... looks good from far but not a tight fit.

I think they are just a reseller, but 100% sure all of these come from same factory since they use same packaging, even same direction on the grain.

The knob was super cheap, but just be prepared to wait a bit for shipping, I only got it after I saw same knob in person, the leather is not as thick as OEM but it fits really good.

I never liked the carbon fiber attachments, they all seem to show some spots and are bulky. I will say, it seems pretty simple to pull that dash apart to get to those. I Plan to do it next weekend and Plasti Dip them. All the silver/chrome pieces, from what I've noticed, are relatively easy to remove and modify.

The other night my brother was a showing me his real carbon fiber overlays in his RC 350 F... Never like the idea of this stuff but his actually looks pretty good. This is real carbon fiber and quite pricey.

I was looking at this ABS/carbon fiber look stuff on eBay...probably same as the Amazon stuff.

Looks good in the pics? :notsure:

I know it’s an aesthetic preference/opinion matter…but I’ve never been into fake carbon fiber components…they don’t look like the real material. Think true brushed aluminum or billet type pieces versus brushed aluminum plastic finishes…it’s not going to be the same as the real thing. I think for plastic, you’re better off with a painted color than the carbon replica pieces.
