hi all! I took my new TRD pro offroading this weekend, it as awesome! I had a blast!

While it was my first time, I had some help from friends to guide me through the experience.

I did make a mistake one that led to my bed step ripping off (which isn't a big deal) but more importantly I noticed my left exhaust is a little closer to the bumper now. You can see the movement on the hanger here, about an inch.

Anything I should be worried about with this movement? Anything "upstream" that could be impacted by the movement?

Have you tried realign it? It just hangs on by the rubber mounts. Pic of the rear showing the difference?

I nailed my passenger side tip on a rock a while back and ended up bending the bed panel a bit, along with tweaking the exhaust pipe quite a bit like yours. You can probably get it to bend back, but I wouldn’t worry about it too much. You can always just dump the pipes after the axle too…

Just moving this with my hands doesn't seem to budge it. You can see the difference here.

It’ll need some force to bend it back. I’d use blocks or a jack, or take it to a muffler shop. Shouldn’t be expensive to have them bend it.

wonder since I am still under warranty if I could get the dealer to do it too.

    Thanks for the advice.

FWIW it rides great, sounds just as amazing as always!

It doesn’t hurt to ask, but I don’t think they’ll do the repair for you. Definitely don’t tell them you were off road when it happened lol.

You can ask, but they'll say no. Warranties are to cover manufacturing defects and such. This was damage caused use, and won't be covered under warranty. If your dealership can figure a way to wrangle it into being covered then you've got a dealership that loves you! lol

I had this happen to me a few months back. Nothing upstream was affected. The exhaust pipe started to vibrate against one of my shackles. I stuck a piece of pipe inside the exhaust and was able to pry it back down (with a little force) and away from the shackle.
