What do you use to wipe down the interior? Is Armoural still the preferred. I know I have to wash and get rid of scratches in the outside but I want the inside to be nice and clean.

Yesterday The Devil’s Backbone got a wash and a coat of sealer.

Today another coat of sealer and 2 Coats of Wax!

Also installed the Drivers Side Grab Handle and my seatbelt pads. Now I need a bolt/washers/nut so I can install my tow cover. Went with the flag/Pledge of Allegiance which actually matches the front plate on my other Toyota.

Added a few mascots to the truck (my granddaughter loves these) and made a cover for my catch all box since the factory cover isn’t 100% waterproof.

Yes to this. The first time my front end was messed up, the shop I went to accepted the links to order the TRD grill, black bumper ends, and LED lights (upgrade). What I sent them was cheaper than ordering from the local toyota dealer, so it stayed under the estimate.

If the shop you're at is scared of insurance adjusters, then you might have an issue. The one I use won't use non-oem parts and it doesn't matter what parts as long as they're OEM. The only non-oem part I ordered was the light-kit from a forum member to get the toyota LED lights to work on my 2014. And he took it to a stereo shop where that owner also has a tundra so he was more than happy to get all of that done.

Friend of mine is an auto detailer. He used Yachte solar defense 9H ceramic coating on the exterior and Leather Shield quartz protection on the leather. Only way to keep black paint looking good

6112/5160 at 1.9”. DS shim. No shackles. Stock limited wheels on open country AT3 285/60/20. I’ve been following for years but finally got my own. Took delivery on 10/8. Terrible market but wanted to stay away from the TTV6 for a couple years. 3BFFF509-DB6D-4A07-944E-6375D10522D2.jpg

    What does DS shim mean?
Do your tires stick out at all from the wheel well? It kind of appears like it might but can't tell for sure from these pics.

Driver’s side shim - on top of the coilover to account for lean.

Yes, what AZboatHauler said. Mine sat .5" lower on the drivers side so added a coachbuilder shim. 0.25" thick=0.5" of lift. Ill try to get a picture posted this afternoon for you. Its currently getting the front end aligned.

Looks awesome! Reaaly nice stance. How much space is left up front before those tires would rub? Didi you need to do any adjustments?

Got it. How do you know it's 0.5" lower? Did you measure (and if so, at what location)?
I have a 3/2" ready lift. So I have spacers already. Is it likely I also might need a shim or are shims mainly for Coilovers?

Where do you measure to see if you need DS shims?
I have a 3/2" ready lift, would that generally mean I need or don't need shims? Are they mainly for coil overs or every truck?

Here's a shot of mine after the ready lift install. I am considering keeping the rims but going with bigger tires after they wear out. Or I might do new tires and rims but I still have about 6 months before I need to decide.

Park on a flat surface and measure from the ground to the wheel well through the center of the wheel at each corner. Compare numbers side to side.

@Long Duck Dong I'm not sure if the coachbuilder shims will work for a 3/2 set up (ask @Coachbuilder1 ) but I imagine you will have some lean after install. From my understanding most trucks have a slight lean due to fuel tank and battery on the left side. Readylift could of compensated for this with spring rates but I'm not sure. Someone on here will have the answer for you.

@attillatundra The tires have no rubbing at all but we will see today after the front end alignment. I have about one finger with between the UCA ball joint and tire. Not sure you could go much wider on stock wheels but bigger diameter I think you could get away with. I didn't have to do any heating molding or trimming on the fender liner.

@0917 Did you take off the front mud flap? The rear mud flap?

@0917 Thanks for the feedback. I have been contemplating 285/60-20s for a while but wasn't sure if on a mild front level it would be enough to clear. Also, I still can't decide if I really want to go to E load tire since I don't want to make it ride too rough. How is the ride and any perceptible loss in power with that size?

@Long Duck Dong No wheel spacers and no mud flap removal. Simply put the tires on and everything was perfect. No rubbing anywhere and still good clearance. I send you some pics.

@attillatundra If anything I have seen an improvement in ride quality but that is mostly due to the 6112's and not tires. I also added the TRD sway bar while I was under there (Definitely recommend). Drives so much better than stock. Like many people have said the 6112's eat up bumps, even during road driving. I haven't had a chance to get them off road yet but from what ive seen they are night and day above stock. I had the black shocks from the factory so not the TRD off road package.

As far as power I may of noticed a slight reduction but nothing that affects drivability. Did lose about a half mpg though.
