@FrenchToasty you still got your stock manifolds from your truck?

I thought 3d notch was highest recommended for AC?

The rental spring compressors work, they just suck so take your time. The ones from advance auto are beefier than o'reilly (at least here). I had to cut off my old top bolt because it wouldn't break free. Spray PB blaster on the bolts for a few days before. The lower shock bolt can hit the cv axle when trying to take it out, since you are replacing the LBJ, take that off first so the cv axle will move a bit.

Overall not a difficult job, just takes time.

Yeah, I understand this won't necessarily be the best method but it's what I have right now and my lower shock bushings are absolutely shot. I think it'll probably be alright for my needs. If it rides like complete crap I may do lift coils in the future. Just gonna do 3rd notch for this instead to keep from ruining the ride too much. Thanks!

Yeah that all makes sense. Probably ought to go with 3rd notch and see how it all goes. If I don't like the look or feel of things maybe better coils will be in my future. I'm doing lower ball joints anyway so I'll pull those first. Thanks!
Yeah after some thought I think I'll go with 3rd notch to help keep the ride better.

Yeah I saw that in another thread recently about the bolt hitting. Hopfully pulling the lower ball joint first will help out enough. Hoping for the best with the o'Reilly spring compressor as it's what I already have. Thanks!

That was where the guy got his ban. It was elaborated on a little later in the thread. The implication was that following the law/thinking you might have messed up made you subservient, and that implies that LEOs are oppressors in whole. At least that's how I think it was interpreted. You can ask Sean for clarification in a PM if you'd like.

You boys wanna talk about some wild s***t?My wife’s official due date was last Saturday, so she was over due but still……. I wasn’t ready for this

got up about 5:30 this morning and she goes call into work I’ve been having contractions since about 5. So I get up and start getting stuff together, get my oldest son up (18months) get his bags packed to go to his aunts house. Before we can get out the door to leave little dude made his arrival around 6:58. My wife was going call the doctor, before I could call the doctor she goes never mind call 911. I’m fumbling with the phone trying to get somebody called about the time she delivers the little guy. Momma’s Healthy, little dudes healthy. Guess I couldn’t ask for much more. The emts show up, and I was like y’all need me for anything, if not I’m gonna go in here and chug a fifth to calm my nerves. I don’t do blood real well. There’s a reason I build power lines instead of working in the medical field.

Congrats @Cummins3500 ! Both my boys were born at home. Made my dad quite stressed out as he spent his career as a neonatologist. Tell your wife she is a champ and take the older kid for special daddy time, it’s a cool moment. Then prepare for the years of inter sibling fighting :)

So my oldest is already screwed and obsessed with trucks. So this little dude was born on 10/22 which means he’s probably screwed and gonna be a gun nut lol
