So I know that the bench seats aren't super popular, but it is something that I really want. Any idea if they will keep that as a base option? I haven't seen it, and I think I saw a video somewhere that they weren't keeping it. thoughts?

Welcome aboard Gavia. To answer your question, no, bench seats are not an option. There have been a few forum members before you asking this and it has been pretty clear that there is not a bench seat option. I agree with you that it would be nice to have that option.

You can special order it with the package that includes 8-track, non-power window, non-power steering and it runs on leaded fuel.

No what we are telling you in this thread is that they have at last killed those as options too.
Took a long time too as they killed the Regular Cab Man Truck Package years ago already!

I really would not mind an 8-track and the old non-powered windows. Like who can't roll down a window? I neve had a problem with those. Take out all the crap rubberize the floor, put some holes in the floor boards, give me vinyl seats and let me hose that sucker out.

I forgot to wonder if the base SR will still have plastic floors and manual windows any more?

They are getting rid of the Bench and column shift evidently and I wonder just how far that will go?

My SR somehow has Carpet and Power Windows too and I have never really understood how they optioned them at all honestly?

I won't give up the bench seat. Use it way too often. That and I feel with a center console there are too many places for junk to collect.

Should we even call them pick up trucks if they do not have a bench seat? Nothing like driving you truck on a nice spring day to somewhere with your girl scooched up against you while you listen to music, enjoy the scenery and talk about the future.

    Too many, but not enough....
Anything with any semblance of balls has to be gender neutralized these days. Glad I got the last V8, gas guzzling, bench row having, column shifting behemoth Toyota will ever make parked next to my v10 excursion.

You are aware that woman can actually buy and own a vehicle with a V8 in or even a V10 in it now without the consent of a male member of their family? Also I am not sure why you are so reliant on a V8 to let people know you are a male when we all know steam is the real man's choice. Nothing like chopping down a forest of old growth to put in my tender to go down to the general store and pick up my vittles. You might as well be using soy in your V8.
