Hello everyone, I sincerely apologize if this has been answered before.. I did perform a search but came up empty to a certain degree.

I am interested in purchasing an aluminum radiator for my 2006 double cab. The bottom end tank is starting to ever so slightly seep which I noticed on the last oil change I did. The ones I can find are for single cab or access cab or ones that simply don't state that they are compatible with the double cab models.

Anyone have any experience with certain brands and or fitment issues?

    Thank you in advance

i looked at both specs and the coldcaseradiators are .6 inches taller. I dont know if that is enough of a difference between the mishimoto radiator at 27.00 inches which specificallyt states not for double cabs. (w/ out double cab). I have emailed coldcaseradiators just to make sure on fitment

I have had it going on 2 years no problem what's so ever. Only issue with going with a thicker rad is that the lower hose will get to close to the pully and make a hole in it. So I used a 1½ greenfield hanger to hold it out of the way.

Tagging @Tundra2 because that hanger solution may actually work for his setup as well.

im rocking a custom radiator from radiator supply house. i tried a CSF at first but the double cab was what it was designed for... so i went full custom... $$$ but man.. its amazing at keeping everything rock steady. my engine has never gone past 184 with this radiator even towing close to max capacity for 400 miles. trans temps improved too. highest i saw that trip was 200. before with the tow package cooler and stock rad 200 was not uncommon when unloaded in traffic...

the cold case and the CSF will hit the hood on an access and reg cab. so mishimoto is the only option. and i THINK they include trans coolers now.. but not sure.

Curious, do you remember about what it cost. I remember looking and could not find a aluminum one that did not have bad ratings.
