If your truck is brand NEW contact Mass Mobile Undercoating. You can get the " Boss Wax" undercoating. Which is a service done to new vehicles. Semi permanent coating to cars when they are new. A bit more constly but the peace of mind is great.. He took about 1-2 full days to do the service. You can also do fluid film but that is recommended to do yearly unlike Boss Wax

Dipped my emblem overlays prior to installing. Also did the brushed stainless steel steps and replaced the chrome mirror covers

    Thanks!

    Badges/Emblems and Mirror Covers……Check

Next on the Chrome Delete list

The Humongous Chrome Grille. I really do like the Limited Edition Grille Insert so I Dipped it using the same Anthracite Gray as the badges/emblems and brushed stainless steel steps.

Also decided to do the center of the front black plastic fascia to break up some of the black and I thought it would have a good look with the front fender caps.

Also swapped out the stock fog lights and went with the pro style black ones. Figured I had to remove them anyway as well as the parking sensor to spray the dip so why not swap them out. Didn’t care for the chrome surround around the bulb……the black looks way better in my opinion.

Anyway a few pictures of the process. Removing the black plastic fascia in between the bumper caps was a Bear cuz there are 3 screws on each cap that were really tough to reach.

Reinstalling was a breeze tho. I used the fog light hole to reattach the fascia which made reaching that bottom screw/nut much much easier.

I have a couple things/parts for sale on here but shipping is Ridiculous. So since this is a Mass thread maybe somebody might be interested.

The Brand new Michelin stock tires, less than 100 miles on them, 275/65/18s

Stock Exhaust/Muffler, less than 20 miles on it

The Old Style Pro Grille and Chrome Surround and Hood Bulge

Anyone interested in prices let me know.

    Thanks

Finally got my “Excise Tax REFUND” from the town!

I ignorantly didn’t know that whenever you sell/trade in your vehicle you can get back the difference on the excise tax you prepaid. Every year I get my excise tax bill for the entire year.

No it is NOT done automatically……you have to bring to your town hall your bill of sale or your purchase paperwork if it was traded in. Then they calculate how much you are due back and a month or two later you get your refund check in the mail.

I asked the lady how many people actually do this and she said very few. She said she never heard of it until she started working there. I’ve had numerous vehicles I’ve sold/traded in so I know I missed out on numerous refunds.

And YES the town pockets ALL That Money.

So if you figure the average refund could be around let’s say $50 (mine was only $30 since I got my new truck so late in the year) that amount Times however many new vehicles purchased annually…….WOW

That’s a whole lot of monies every town pockets.

I know this isn't the zeroturn plow forums...but is anyone in MA with a zero turn running a snowplow, like this:

    zeroturn.jpg

Always been curious to see if they work well, especially up here with the wet slushy snow.

Ya it’s still up on Craigslist. Got several “lowball” offers but too low. Asking $500 for an OE exhaust system with 20 miles on it so I’d say that’s as “like new” as you can get.

Oh forgot to say that it is for the 5.7L

I can see it spinning tires. Also wouldn't be much use in deep snow unless you kept after it while it was coming down.

Where did you see that price? The stock 2 pieces are over $800

Toyota Part Number: 17420-0S060 -Exhaust Muffler - MSRP: $495

    Toyota Part Number: 17430-0S011 - Exhaust Pipe & Tip - MSRP: $325

Asking $500 for mine……but will consider any/all offers!

This is the stock (single pipe) exhaust. What you posted above is the Dual exhaust tailpipe tips. If you are going Dual Exhaust you also need the muffler section. Both together are over 1K

I paid $1,065 plus tax for my TRD Dual Exhaust with the Black Chrome tips!

Super easy mod, purchased the truck then walked over to the parts dept and grabbed all my goodies, drove home, less than 20 miles, and started my installs.

Dealership prices for their service departments to do the install was crazy crazy expensive. Took me around an hour in my driveway.

Ya if you got a 5.7L Tundra 2014-2021 this is a like new replacement. So I’m thinking the most likely folks that would be in the market are 2014 to maybe 2016 Tundra owners.

All that winter salt is horrendous on the underbody.

That’s what I kind of figured. But I’ve seen some pretty cool YouTube videos of them moving decent snow. Wondering if anyone had any experience. Sure seems more fun then walking the snowblower around

Apologies, I am an idiot. The best is I have the Pro exhaust and honestly remember it being only like $500 but seeing as though I barely remember what I did yesterday that memory is probably crap.

Ignore me and carry on :)
