I have a 2008 tundra. Initially i was having the issue with the vsc and 4hi blinking. Then it quit going into 4 wheel drive. So replaced all 4 speed sensors. Now the speedometer isnt working. the check engine light the brake light abs, vsc, skid control light. 4 hi and 4 low lights all come on. Hooked up to my obdII checker. saying all 4 speed sendors have a circuit error. also the ecu error showing up. if I clear the memory everything works, 4 wheel drive too, and all lights go out. goes fine till i hit about 10 miles an hour then everything lights back up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Doesnt ever lose power though. Any help would be appreciated.

Why did you replace all four speed sensors? Where did you get them? Did you save the old ones?

What codes come up in your code reader?

The old sensors were old and corroded. they all broke trying to remove them. I got the them online from carparts.com. c0200. c02010, c0215, c1201, p0500. I had a few different ones but when I erased the data to reset it they all went away and havent returned. So I appreciate you getting back to me on this.

Sorry about the all caps I must of had the caps lock on.:facepalm:I should have been more clear. Those codes didnt come back on at the time I wrote that but they are back and I still have all the lights from the initial post. Cant go into 4 wheel unless I reset the errors. It will go in and out of 4 wheel then until I get to about 10 mph then all the problems return. Thanks for any help.

You are going to need to look at live data to see if what's coming out of the speed sensors looks reasonable.

I would get all the wheel speed sensors and the vehicle speed sensor all displaying at once and see if one doesn't look like the others!

Thanks for your help. I just took it to a friend that was able to check the sensors while running. 2 left were accurate reading at 37 mph but the right sensors were giving 67 mph and 2 mph. So i am ordering 2 more sensors for that side and see if that does it. Ill update when done.

Check for wheel bearing wear, bad bearings can cause bad sensor readings. Also could be dirty or trashed tone rings.

    This ^^^

Quit throwing parts at the truck and do the full diagnosis first.

Did the full diagnosis. My mechanic friend has one of those expensive readers (I think hes spent like $1,800 on it if not more) and the only code he was getting was the faulty speed sensor. Ive ordered replacements and will install on Monday. Ill let you know how it goes.

You need to diagnose what's actually wrong.

    This has been explained here.

You are likely to not solve anything with another round of wheel speed sensors.
